My Son And The Army Recruiter......

You may recall that I posted a story about me berating a Marine recruiter over the phone when they called for my son. Well, yesterday he answered the phone himself.

Phone rings, caller ID says US Army. Son picks up phone, and listens to spiel for a good 2 minutes. When the soldier paused for a breath, Son says "Tell you what...when you stop policing the world, close all the bases in other countries and quit slaughtering Muslims, then maybe I'll sign up."

The soldier says to have a good day, and hangs up. Then, by mistake, he dials our number again.

My son sees the name on the caller ID, and picks it up, saying "Oh my God! Is it really over? Are they home? Did we win?"

The Army hung up.

I've been laughing for a day.
