Congress leaders urge bailout parachute limits.
First off, the headline says it all.
"Parachute Limits"
WTF!
Now here we have something that is well beyond unacceptable.
I think we are all in agreement here that the bailout bill should never have been passed in the first place for many reasons, the most primary reason being that congress and the rest of the boys have no constitutional right to pass a bill of this kind.
But now, we are talking about Parachute Limits? Why are these guys getting anything at all?
Your company is in the red, you get nothing.Be thankful your not getting fired!
So, this is what happens when you rush a bill through the way Mr. Paulson did.
That’s right, your tax money will go to help maintain the Wall Street exec's lifestyle.
A quote from the article:
"Such "lavish severance packages" for executives at banks being bailed out could weaken public support for the program, they said, citing recent news reports that six institutions in the program plan to pay executives billions of dollars."
Weaken support??!!
I think it’s time for the people of this country to act!!
This is so #@%&%$&* ridiculous, I’m fuming right now!
What the hell are we going to do?
Sorry pissed.
Please Digg.
