My fight against my town for Ron Paul 2012 lawn signs

My town has same ordinance. Political election signs can only be up for a certain period of time.
If you put them up to early, or leave them up too long, they can fine you.

They even gave me crap about the SIZE of my Ron Paul sign last election.
I guess that there are also rules to how large of a sign you can display in your front yard...

We also have laws for tag sale signs... You have to get a permit where you list all the locations of your signs.
If you leave them up past the date, then they will charge you removal costs.

What I would do, is get one of those big Ron Paul magnets and stick it to the back of your car parked in the driveway.

How big is your yard?

Reason I asked is this:

You can raise the stake. With ours help, ofcourse. If we could raise almost 3K for that plane over Orlando, raising 1,5K for yard fence for you would be piece of cake. As soon as The end of the quarter push is over, ofcourse.

Just imagine this sign painted in white, as a yard fence. Then it wouldn't be yard sign - it would be good old American white yard fence. Only 8 feet high and reading "Ron Paul 2012".

Maybe we could get State Senator Michael Doherty to officialy "open" the fence. Anyhow, some kind of ceremony for official opening of the Ron Paul yard fence for public would be great event. It would strongly underline how personal liberties and private property are undermined today.

Isn't it great to live in a country where you can do what you want on your own property, as long as you're not bothering anyone else?

Obviously, this is why "they hate us for our freedoms!"

They actually used some BS excuse saying that the large sign is a distraction to drivers...
There was also the complaint from the historical society...

Sign in question (Pic from my local polling location in 2008 election):
