(not my pic, but looks very similar)

Her name is Haley. Actually my MinLaws. She was fine but is acting very sick today... I don't know much about dogs... I feel ashamed to say she doesn't have her shots...

Symptoms:
Won't come
Looks sick,
Won't Bark
I'll see if she eats...

Can't afford a vet right now.... :(
Man this just happened today - she's been perfectly fine the last few months..

No, Doc, he really DID get that picture from online.
Go to the links mrocked posted and look for the dog named Chico.

Just edited it...

Why don't you guys try helping instead of trying to always questioning sh#$. It's amazing how cold hearted some of you punks are!

Hey George,

I've been pretty supportive, I adore dogs--but you've got to know that people are going to say that this is another plea for attention, right?

If the doggie is really sick (vomiting, diarrhea), feed him/her a decent diet of rice and ground meat, mixed with a little high-quality dog food. Make sure it's getting attention, walks, that his bowls aren't slimy from bacteria. Use stainless steel bowls, they retain the least amount of bacteria. Make sure he isn't eating his own feces or anyone elses. Take him to a dog park and let him interact with the other dogs for a good amount of time.

Finally, get the dog its shots/meds, whatever. During winters, we don't have to do heartworm meds up here, but I imagine it could be year-round in CA. Oh, and hell, since it's a poodle, give the bugger a spa day complete with bath, special treats and paint his nails. What the heck.

Does she get out unattended?

They have a big park in the back and they let her run around recently.....for easter

they also have a very low fence and live in a "graffitied" area

They also have chickens...

They feed her canned alpo - and I saw some in a bowl with flies in it...?

YEah I know Amy - you are light years ahead of my family with your knowledge - THANK YOU

His bowl is plastic

And I saw poop in the yard

sorry to say they leave him alone most of time...

There are any number of reasons she/he could be sick. If somebody gave it a large chocolate bar, it would be very bad and can cause death. Raisins and grapes are also very bad for dogs.
One of the worst things is antifreeze. Even a tablespoon full of it can kill a dog.

Now I know you may think, we don't use antifreeze here because it is warm and never freezes... but the coolant used in the radiators of most vehicles contains ethylene glycol and is extremely toxic.

Even a good veterinarian can not tell you what is the matter without examining the dog.

George, this is getting absurd. This forum is not your own personal "Dear Abby."
