My Dog looks really bad...

I have a stray pregnant cat in my yard

So do I! Last year she left me with three starving kittens. One of them had to be put down, the other two are eating me out of house and home along with the seven other rescued cats I already had living here!

George,

There are very cheap vet clinics that you can take your dog to. If you don't know who they are, call around to the animal rescue groups in your area. Even without that, vets charge drastically different amounts. The old school vets (older ones) tend to charge less, or at least that's been my experience.

It sounds like the dog needs to go to the vet. Call around, make an appointment and take him. Stop messing around, unless you want your dog to die.

Thanks Liberty - I guess not taking your pet to the vet is the "mexican" way...

She's doing alot better with the penicillin

Brilliant...I love the Internet! George is really losing it....has anyone done a background search on him?

"God Will Not Forget"

"God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them" (Hebrews 6:10).

I write this in memory of George Hemminger, who spent many years as a missionary to Africa. He and his wife retired some 25 years ago and it just so happens that my brother married their only child, Laverne. Brother Hemminger had such a love for the African people and carried that burden till the day he went to be with the Lord. I remember their home full of all kinds of neat stuff from Africa.

Last Saturday I was at a men’s meeting and met a pastor from Boston. I spoke to him for a few minutes and detected an accent I was unfamiliar with and asked where he was from and was surprised when he said Sierra Leone. I asked if he had ever heard of the Hemmingers and he lit up like a firecracker! I wish I could convey his joy in print as he gushed in broken English about Pastor Hemminger!

His last association with Bro. Hemminger goes back over twenty-five years ago. Yet the fruit of Bro. Hemminger’s faithful service for God goes on. Consider the phrase "he will not forget your work" in our daily text. Pastor Hemminger is now in the great cloud of witnesses but God has not forgotten his work. That which is done for Christ goes on. The church in Boston is an extension of the faithful work of Bro. Hemminger. I wonder if he saw in the life of that young man in "Timba Church" a future warrior for the Kingdom of Christ in Boston?

What about you? We often see the fruit of our labors in part. But you know what? I feel what we see likely only represents the tip of the iceberg.

oh lets all just pour our hearts out over this sick dog.....while our men and women and millions of innocent iraqis die over our WAR ON TERROR, we care for a sick dog.....PATHETIC!!!
this is the last damn straw!!!!! never show your disregard for animals here where i can see it!!! i am going out to cry.

gemminger, take care of the dog, and give her a hug for me too. it could be bad dogfood, it could be a disease, it could be VIBES. dogs are very very sensitive to emotions, and if anyone is sad or angry, it will affect the dog. so more joy and hugs if you can. and a good vet if you can. and none of that alpo or other cheap food. there is no warning about chineese ingredients on the package to warn you.
