Are you kidding? Exactly how few people are you expecting to turn up? There's no chance any band on earth has played to the number of people we will get at this rally.
Muse
lol not really true. heres one, Grath brooks played to a crowd of 980,000 people in central park in 1997.
not to mention all the bands that played at the original woodstock in front of 500,000 hippies
unless of course if you for expecting a higher turnout then garth brooks or woodstock..![]()
Their drummer, Dom, has been to my house.
Muse headlined Wembley 2 nights fairly recently, they play big festivals.
They're big on conspiracies, and seem to like Alex Jones.

Um, Arlo played Woodstock. I don't know how many people will show up in D.C., but I know Woodstock had a few (around a half a million), so if Arlo decided to attend our march (since he seems to support Ron) . . .
It just has to be someone that the general public will recognize. It'll be great to get as many good bands as we can, but we NEED someone famous to make headlines.
This whole march has to be about making headlines in order to get people's attention.
Me.. Three piece band can be heard here

I wrote, produced, engineered, sang and played guitar on all the songs. The band I used went from first rehearsal to final take in eight weeks. The False Emperors Song, Circle Of Abuse and Dance O' Shades are quite cogent to this election cycle.
However I have a wicked acoustic set for this venue with some historical songs and Americana. Same set I did for the rock festival in Little Five Points that took over the counterculture mecca of the southeast under The R3volution banner for 14 hours on the 700th anniversary of the arrest of the Knights Templar (gold metal trusts). Didn't realize that till the day prior to the event.

To MAKE the headlines or DETRACT from the headlines we WANT...
Which would you prefer:

Radiohead plays to 1,000,000 at Washington Rally.
I would love to see Phil and Friends play at the Freedom March! I am a long-time GD follower, went to 300 or so shows, including many Phil & Friends shows. I was very upset when I found out about Hart and Weir being Grove members. I also recently received an email saying they were all reuniting to play a show for Obama, and that really bummed me out. I deleted immediately... Do they not know, I thought, or are they involved? Do they believe the Obama's-against-the-war BS??? I really think Phil is a great person, regardless of what Weir and Hart may be involved in. Perhaps someone can get in touch with him and find out where he stands. Also another realistic possibility would be Phil Lesh + Friends....
Phil was the bass player for the grateful dead.....
He has played with John Mayer on New Years at the warfield in San Francisco....if there's any hope that John Mayer might play.
Phil Lesh is someone who hasn't been heard of much since his traitor band mates from the grateful dead, Bob Weir and Mickey Hart became members of the Bohemian Club and played at Bohemian grove....
But Phil is a good guy who tries to do what is right and someone who would prolly put his support behind Ron Paul and play if asked, especially if John Mayer was in the lineup.
Also someone Phil respects very much threw a fundraiser for Ron Paul in 1988 in his libertarian presidential bid adding even more reason for his band to play, also Phil has ins with willie.
Also Neil Young would be a possibilty, while I acknowledge his statement on music can't change the world....he might see his endorsement towards someone who could change the world....might help.
