I think given that this has now received attention on national TV, in national journals on the web, and in a local Iowa newspaper, and given that ITR still is not returning calls, and that the Christian Alliance does not answer the phone, it is time to start asking the corporate sponsors about their views about this controversy.
I spoke with Mr. Shaw from Light Expressions by Shaw daily over the last two days, and he says he has not made any statement yet about this, but he did confirm that his company was linked in some way to this event, I believe as a co-sponsor. Maybe some of Ron Paul supporters might have better luck than me in getting some sort of answers from Mr. Shaw. He has now had two days since my first contact with him, and he told me that he was going to try to contact one or both of the groups sponsoring the event. I think 48 hours is enough time for him to be able to reach one of these organizations, given that he is apparently a co-sponsor.
All calls to him should be nice and professional. I recommend you ask him
1) Is he aware of the issues that have made this a national controversy?
2) Is he going to ask the sponsors to invite Ron Paul to this forum?
3) If not, is he continuing with his plans to co-sponsor this event?
