Much as I hate to admit it, Beck's show today was awesome.

^^^^^^^^
Like I said, mental gymnastics. Thanks for proving my point. I guess some weak minds were bound for fall for it.

The Ron Paul movement experienced some "BLOWBACK" by using Guy Fawkes, a Terrorist, in the political campaign.

...Beck is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He will show his true colors when it matters and all the shows with Griffin and whatnot will be quickly forgotten as his followers march to the polls to vote for whoever he ultimately pushes to the masses. It ain't gonna be Ron Paul. Do you think Rupert Murdoch is really on our side?
Rumors are out there that Beck is possibly seeking his own network after his contract with Fox expires. Perhaps because of Murdoch?

The reason that Beck is now able to openly expose the Fed is because I have already defeated TPTB. The Fed is already gone - beaten at their own game - you just don't know it yet.

Threads devoted to Beck, good or bad, upsets me. He's a fake, a shill, a pied piper, etc. So yeah, wonderful that Beck's viewers committed to memory about 3% of this show's contents and 1% will read the book (though the Creature is riddled with inaccuracies). Too bad they'll forget all about it when Beck says that Pawlenty or Bachmann will make a great President once his marching orders come down. I'm just being realistic about the long run with this guy and I make it a goal to remind everyone to not get too friendly and trusting of Beck. He still works for Murdoch and does as he is told. Do you think Beck picked the show's contents? LOL

Some of the posts on this thread are CONFIRMATION that Beck's goal is to rope in people in this movement. And it's working.

I agree with you 100%. Yeah, on the surface it seems great that Beck has been exposing the Fed and other issues that people like Ron Paul and A.J. have been talking about for years. However, the guy works for Fox News - a major corporate player in news media manipulation. We have to ask ourselves why would Fox allow this? Is it just for the ratings or is there something more going on here?

I haven't watched the show over again since last Friday, but something very interesting leaped out at me right away . It's very quick and subtle but somewhere, very briefly, Beck alludes to Saul Lewinsky, a radical leftist that Beck talks about often on his show as being a threat to the country. I can't remember the exact words but I think it was the guy in the studio who was speaking and when Beck responded to him Beck said "just like Lewinsky."

Then on another occasion before going to break, Beck mentions how at one time Ronald Reagan tried going after the Fed. Why am I bringing this up? Well, here's my theory. Because Lewinsky is far LEFT, and Reagan (considered the patron saint of the modern conservative movement), is on the RIGHT. Beck now has clearly set up a LEFT vs. RIGHT paradigm.

Paradigm: A set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline. http://education.yahoo.com/reference/dictionary/entry/paradigm

What's troubling about this is that as we all know, the Fed has nothing to do with one's political leanings as past administrations of BOTH parties are complicit when it comes to serving the Fed. Therefore, this now has been set up as a left vs. right scenario. It may not have been discussed at length, but the brief mention of these two names have now been planted into the viewer's subconscious.

Sure, Beck is exposing a lot of important information that was once considered to be conspiratorial. But before Beck (and thanks to the internet), this knowledge has been exposed and the media simply can't hide it from the public anymore. The powers that be needed a way to keep the people divided along political / philosophical lines. What would they do if the majority of the American people actually became unified over a given issue? There's too many of us to control. So the best way to achieve this is to take control of the information, allow it to be disseminated, then steer the information in such a way that it divides us between political lines. Left vs. Right, Liberals vs. Conservatives, etc. A perfect divide and conquer technique. At least that's my theory.

Wait, does Judge Napolitano work for Fox News? Why would Fox allow this?

Just because some are happy/thankful that Beck did a show on the Federal Reserve, its shadowy beginnings and conniving nature doesn't mean we all want to blow him all of a sudden.

You printed all those dollars yourself?

Afternoon, Mr. Bernanke. Such a pleasure to have you drop in. Don't be surprised if we pop your bubbles.

Yeah that^^^

It's very simple why these things are happening, we are making them happen.

"Freedom" is a hot commodity right now. Put Ron Paul on your show and your ratings will go through the roof.

But I think all of us understand that, at the end of the day, the MSM is still the MSM, meaning it is an official organ of the government and they'll only carry the water for so long when it comes to all this freedom and liberty stuff.

Is that true? Was this Beck show with Griffin much higher rated than usual?

Its obvious that Judge Napolitano is also a fake and a agent of deception else he never would have started working for faux news

Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken. But I have no doubt that some people here believe this.

Clearly, Beck is unaware of the left/right paradigm. :D 6:45 mark.

And it's Saul Alinsky as opposed to Saul Lewinsky.

Glenn Beck busted out Carroll Quigley! :D

On his August 4, 2010 TV show Glenn Beck quoted from Carroll Quigley's book Tragedy and Hope about why it is useful to the establishment for both Democratic and Republican parties to be very similar; John F. McManus, President of The John Birch Society, has popularized this quote among grassroots constitutionalists in recent decades.

Glenn Beck Uses Quigley Quote About Political Parties

Larry Greenley | John Birch Society
05 August 2010

On last night’s TV show Glenn Beck spent most of the first segment of his show discussing how similar the Democratic and Republican parties have become in recent years. To help his audience understand how this has come about Beck used a famous quote from Carroll Quigley’s infamous book Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time, which was published in 1966.

Here’s a screen shot from last night’s show that shows how prominently Beck displayed the quote.

The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.

- Carrol Quigley, Tragedy and Hope (1966)
