Well, Trump did warn MTG not to rock the boat. I guess everybody listened to him, except for that short list.

Trump's truthsocial response

Not happy with Trump's truthsocial response! :/

I know he's got a lot to deal with right now, but this makes it sound like he doesn't grasp the situation at all - that is - that Johnson is a backstabber who went out of his way to vote with the dems for legislation that we don't want; still spying on us, yet again splurging on extremely excessive foreign aid, and failing to acknowledge that we have been invaded.

"Mike Johnson is a good man who is trying very hard."

WTF?! Mike Johnson is a weak piece of shit who is indifferent to the well-being of American citizens!

Did he delegate this response to still-incompetent staff?! Or must I accept that he will definitely be stabbing us in the back?

He's got to do better than this - or fuck him!

I absolutely love Marjorie Taylor Greene. She’s got Spirit, she’s got Fight, and I believe she’ll be around, and on our side, for a long time to come. However, right now, Republicans have to be fighting the Radical Left Democrats, and all the Damage they have done to our Country. With a Majority of One, shortly growing to three or four, we’re not in a position of voting on a Motion to Vacate. At some point, we may very well be, but this is not the time. We are leading in the Presidential Polls by a lot, both Nationally and in the Swing States. Likewise, we are doing well in the Senate, and I believe will do well in the House. But if we show DISUNITY, which will be portrayed as CHAOS, it will negatively affect everything! Mike Johnson is a good man who is trying very hard. I also wish certain things were done over the last period of two months, but we will get them done, together. It is my request that Republicans vote for “THE MOTION TO TABLE.” We WILL WIN BIG - AND IT WILL BE SOON!

Update:

The unbelievably gullible and insane number of 19.8k Likes just increased to ----> 29.9k Likes.

Which is worse: the fool, or the fools who follow?

Which reminds me of an article I just read:

Reminds me how after the election and a rally crowd was yelling "Lock her up!" and he said that was good for when he was running but not once he'd won and "Hillary is good people".

Interesting that the Democrats want to keep Johnson. I figured they'd want to get rid of him because it would result in a few GOP members of Congress to resign and the Democrats would get the majority back without having to win the November elections.

Trump was heavily invested in Hillary and even helped her win the U.S. Senate, so it's no wonder. Also:

- Donald Trump gave at least $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation while his daughter Ivanka Trump donated between $5,001 and $10,000, the Hill reported. Trump also donated to Hillary Clinton’s New York Senate campaign - http://www.wnd.com/2015/05/abc-news-star-gave-50000-to-clinton-foundation/#RVUuLIlJIQrKuGvt.99

- Trump has given $541,650 to federal Democratic candidates and fundraising committees going back to 1990, according to data from the Center for Responsive Politics. He's handed out money to Democratic statewide candidates as well. In 2009, for instance, Trump cut a $25,000 check to former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe for his unsuccessful 2009 Virginia gubernatorial bid. But as Republicans and Tea Party activists nationwide were working to take back the House and Senate in 2010, Trump was also handing out checks to top Democratic incumbents: $4,800 to Reid, $2,000 to Florida Sen. Bill Nelson and more than $8,000 total to New York's two senators, Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.

Over the last two decades, Trump gave money to a number of high-profile Democrats and liberal icons, including Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Tom Daschle and Joe Biden. The biggest recipient of Trump's largesse? The scandal-plagued Rangel, who has taken $24,750 from Trump since the 1990 election cycle. - https://dailycaller.com/2015/06/03/...-election-which-put-reid-and-pelosi-in-power/

The chamber voted to strike down Greene’s motion in a 359-43 vote, with just 10 Republicans backing the Georgia representative... Along with the majority of Republicans, 163 Democrats voted to save Johnson, with seven voting “present.”...

...South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace responded to the news with a thumbs down emoji, after previously expressing opposition to Greene’s proposed motion...

...New York Rep. Mike Lawler: “Moscow Marjorie has lost her mind — clearly the result of a space laser. This temper tantrum will do nothing to advance the conservative movement and in fact will continue to undermine our House Republican Majority. I will continue to push back against this lunacy and be a voice of sanity in a sea of chaos.”

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz:
“I voted to table the motion for one principal reason – with a two seat majority in an election year I believe 2-3 Republicans could be susceptible to bribes to resign or even vote for a Democrat. Democrats would then instantly deem Trump an “insurrectionist” to bar him from the ballot. House Republicans must do better. We must be led better. We must return Trump to the White House”

Gaetz has an interesting point [update] in that he assumes there are 2-3 republicans who are ripe for bribing. It's as if he has specific people in mind.

Of course he doesn't.

I have no idea what he's thinking on matters like this.

I'd say it was age related like Biden, but he, Trump, has always had an absolute bullshit record on choosing subordinates or who to support.

I'm sure he's right. I'd love to know who he's thinking of.
