Many evangelicals are hoping the government will continue to pass religion-based laws (such as the blue laws) so they can force others to subscribe to their faith. Evangelicals do not believe in freedom, for the most part. It's the LAST thing on their list. There are exceptions to every rule.

We have to try and pick off the smart christians conservatives who will, no doubt be upset by Robertson's blatant sell-out. This is a group we have to target. Some won't be budged but some absolutely can be.

My meetup group is right now working on radio ads targeting our local Christian radio stations. We're going to run a series of 30 sec ads: pro-life, sovereignty, the war, immigration, aid to Israel and a general Ron Paul ad. We are lucky to have a professional broadcaster in our group with a great voice, and will certainly make the commercials available to all when they are finished. Looking to be ready mid-late November.

Many Christians' world view (ESPECIALLY EVANGELICALS) is that we as a nation MUST support Israel or else GOD will kill us all with hellfire and brimstone. It might sound crazy, but as my aunt said, "Any nation that turns its back on Israel is doomed". In other words, the Zionists have long infiltrated our churches and people like Pat Robertson.

There is no reason to be surprised that Pat endorsed a pro-choice candidate, because that candidate is the one promising the police state here and continued unqualified support of Israel in the Middle East.

I don't see how that's even possible, God would have to be pretty fickle since Israel didn't exist before the 40s.

P.S. - Pat Robertson has rationalized mandatory abortions in China on socio-political grounds (in contrast with most Churches I might add), so him supporting a Pro-Choice candidate is only mind-boggling to someone who doesn't fully research Mr. Robertson's history.

This depends on what you call Israel, the state or the land.

Actually Israel(The State) shouldn't really be called Israel. It's a Jewish state, and it should be named as such, and if you prescribe to the Germanic/Celtic Israeli tribe theory they're far off the mark.

There is NO denying that it is or was the land of Israel though.

For some reason I can only see good things coming from this event, guess I'm an optimist.
