Rudy Giuliani must pay more than $148 million in damages to two former Georgia election workers he defamed through false accusations that they helped rig the 2020 election against Donald Trump, a jury decided on Friday.

The jury in federal court in Washington, D.C., found that Giuliani owes the workers, Wandrea "Shaye" Moss and her mother Ruby Freeman, roughly $73 million to compensate them for the reputational and emotional harm they suffered and $75 million to punish the former Trump lawyer and one-time New York major for his conduct.

When you lie down with dogs, you end up with fleas. 148 million of them.

There goes the bourbon fund! Good thing he still has the scotch fund, the rum fund, the rye fund, the tequila fund, the amaretto fund, the ouzo fund, the champagne fund...

There should not be a court of any kind higher than a municipal traffic court in the sovereign state of DC.

The most innocent person could be found guilty in today's courts.

The most guilty person could be found innocent in todays courts.

Too much power in the court system.

If Kyle Rittenhouse were tried on a different day in possibly the same court he might not be walking the streets today.

A good day in court only equates to spending an exorbitant amount of money to get back what was yours or not go to jail.

Not many people can afford an adequate legal defense and even if you have one, the judge, prosecutor, and jury can all be prejudiced against you.

Probably smartest thing a person could do out on bail today is become a fugitive.

$148 million is a lot of hair dye.

Remember 911 firefighters hounding him when he was running for President. They were pissed he moved OEM office emergency management to WTC7 & also had issue with terrible/failed motorola communication devices

Their hate for him was real

So the Ghoul is getting a good taste of the police state he has built and supported for years now.

Still, for $#@!'s sake...

Full list of the agenda for the upcoming election board meeting in Georgia.

I'm not seeing anything quite so specific.

Not sure what SEB2023-025 Fulton County Tabulator Results 2020 means, but I'm not expecting much. We had our chance to get Raffensburger replaced in 2022. As long as he's still Secretary of State for GA, there won't be any serious inquiries.

It was a default judgement. He basically incriminated himself and didn't fight it. The jury only had to decide the amount, which is obviously ridiculous. It will get reduced on apeal, but still will probably bankrupt him. Yet another one who associated with Trump is paying the price.

what kind of jury comes up with an amount like that ? It shows the regular guy in America what a joke the entire system is and the system will get the respect it deserves which is none .

No doubt this is the same court system that would have likely given BLM/Leftist protestors/rioters reduced sentences or early release from prison.
