Agreed. Getting evangelicals to understand that Paul is the best possible choice to protect their religious liberties is a key to winning in the primaries IMHO.

First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. What other candidate promises Christians the freedom to "lead a tranquil and quiet life" with the same integrity as Ron Paul?

But seriously, this is bizarre. Pat Robertson endorses Giuliani? Does not compute. I didn't have much respect for Robertson before, but now I have none whatsoever. And it's not sour grapes that he didn't endorse Paul -- it's disgust that this supposed Christian has revealed himself as someone who will exchange his deepest held principles (anti-abortion for example) for the likelihood of killing more muslims. I'm shocked about this, actually.

You can't contain that much sleeziness and be a true Christian. And this is coming from an Athiest!(well i'm athiest some of the time) So no I don't find this bizarre at all.

I suggest emailing the people that work for him at CBN and the 700 club that have email addresses posted expressing displeasure. The email donesn't need to say anything about Ron Paul, just that you have lost all respect for Robertson, and if you want to fudge a little, that you won't be giving any more money to the 700 club or CBN....
