It doesn't get much more flagrant than this. I'm sorry, but I find this broadcast segment actually funny. It's just so silly and transparent. I apologize for not feeling remorse in finding humor in something so otherwise sad and tragic. Sometimes I feel like the puppet masters are just messing with us to see how we'll react. Almost as if this MSNBC piece was meant to be asinine and transparent, but with the purpose of evaluating a reaction from the fringe constitutionalists. Will they bust out laughing? Or, will they cry "foul" and spend lots of energy trying to debunk this Orwellian tactic? I feel that this piece is somehow more about "egging us on" rather than left-right paradigm propaganda. But I'm probably wrong..it's probably just left-right paradigm propaganda.

ya know, I think I agree with you that it feels so ridiculous that one has to pray that no one is so evil as to think this an effective counter argument. So it must then be for some greater purpose like gauging the reactions of one's adversaries. That was truly one of the stupider arguments I have read lately and well, that is saying a lot.

They don't realize it, being maestros of cognitive dissonance, but they look down on minorities subconsciously to such an extent that whenever the opposition is critical of anything remotely attached to a minority or minority group, they project that it must be racism. Not saying that's the case with Bashir. He's just being purely cynical pandering to them for the sake of his career.

Not only do leftists not realize that they're the ones who are racists, but handler types like Bashir do things to get them to believe that those opposed to socialism, bigger government, etc, are the racists. I was going to say that lefties are the biggest racists, but it's not necessarily true. Racism is fairly universal. Outspoken ones tend to be right-wingers. Which is more insidious? I'd say the lefties, based on all the horrible legalization they've promoted that has hurt minorities.
