Everything about that man rubs me the wrong way. Think we still need to know the full story before we take the pictures out of context, but he is definitely an aggressive man with no respect for the law. Reminds me of the way he treated the cop that pulled him over when his driver was speeding.

The definitions for both assault and battery differ from state to state. But generally, being touched in an offensive way is battery, not assault. Battery generally does not require contact to be painful, harmful or violent. Offensive is sufficient and that was assuredly offensive. Pretty sure raising your voice and violating someone's personal space meets the threshold for assault.

But it doesn't really matter as I highly doubt Ron would pursue legal redress (though it would be high comedy if he did). People know a bully when they see one and those pictures speak loudly.
