[mod: old thread] Dr Paul. Please Ask The Police To Charge Perry With Assault

Making a legal issue of this would only serve to either: (1) cultivate Perry's "macho Texan" persona; (2) make Perry seem a "sympathetic" figure; or (3) however incredible it sounds... some combination of both (which would be a complete nightmare).

Just keep hammering away with TRUTH about Perry's pathetic excuse for a "conservative" record. He's bleeding already...

The people talking about assault and police are trying to turn Dr. Paul into a whiner. Right now 99% of public opinion is on our side of this and Perry looks horrible. The people pushing this subject are trying to destroy that sentiment.

I'm betting Ron Paul has the sense not to look like an oversensitive, weak coward. There should be no campaign mentioning of this, no "asking for an apology". It just makes Ron look like a crybaby. People would laugh at us hardcore if we pressed charges for this. That would be a really dumb move. By all means, push it in the media and talk about it because Rick Perry is a very aggressive man, but there should be no campaign or police involvement.

Yes,maybe I was wrong.Judging by various sites I've looked at this evening, the pictures do indeed speak for themselves. At least Romney appears to be reasonably normal, although still terrible! Maybe we've had some real luck and avoided a monster.

How often do you grab senior citizen's arm while wagging your finger in their face? Then loom over them with expansive arm gestures, forcing them to back away from where they were standing and cause enough concern in a third party that they come and stand between you?

The last thing I'd want to do is describe Ron Paul as some sort of weak "senior citizen"?

Ron Paul should respond like Bush did here
