Mitt Romney should drop out now

as the title says.

its very evident Romney doesnt have the full enthusiastic support of the GOP or his own supporters. he is doing nothing other than holding up the election process and will cause chaos in tampa. Romney must realize this. if he doesnt then he needs to listen to his few supporters and the small crowds he draws compared to others who are still running.

i think that if Mitt Romney loves america and really cares for the political party of the republicans, then he must drop out now and concede the race to ron paul who has more support and can easily out draw Romney each and every time. this makes it obvious even to me.

He will have to drop out by August.

Right now he is just helping the RNC to raise funds for Dr. Paul's general election campaign.

You can't win, Mitt. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.

you know.. ive been thinking. i think they'll let romney win against obama, just so GOP can take over for 8 years... this will make sure whatever constitutional/liberty loving presidential candidate will have to wait 8 years before a chance comes up. If obama wins, then in 4 years.. they'll have to deal with another "ron paul".

I agree. And think how badly people are thinking of establishment GOP with him as the face of that segment? they should regroup over the next four years and try again in 2016.

A *lot* of Republicans are working on the same math. If Obama gets in now the GOP candidate should win in a landslide in 2016, regardless of who is being pitted against who.

Funny, I'm sure I've read or heard the same things being said about Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich from the establishment. Good thing only two of the 3 actually followed the advice.

You mean like what happened with the Democrats with George W Bush in 2006 and 2008?

If I was a detective, I would have concluded that the GOP wants n0bama to win

All this talk of Romney dropping out...when he is technically winning.

Guys, we'll get 500+ delegates, I don't doubt this fact. I will do everything I can to support the movement and try and get as many delegates as we can, but it just isn't looking good, and creating scenarios of how and when Romney is going to drop out is not only asinine but it helps us in no way.

Warren G. Harding, the 29th president of the US went into the GOP convention with only 39 delegates.

There is always a crack of hope.

I hear you. There is something to said about positive thinking, but there's no point in being a fantasist.

I'm aware, I'm also aware of Wilkie in the 1940 GOP nomination.

But you see, right there in your reply, you fail to see my point.
ROMNEY WILL NOT DROP OUT! And any scenario anyone creates at RPF just proves that some are in an anesthetized fairy tale land.

My local news is reporting that Romney will clinch the nomination with a win in Texas today. I don't think he will be dropping out.

Um... we all want Ron Paul to be the nominee.

But Romney won over three times the amount of popular votes as Ron Paul so far. It's hard to make an argument that he doesn't have the support of the GOP. If things had turned out better for us, and our positions had been switched, you'd be fine with Ron Paul dropping out because a minority of the party disliked him?

there was an article in Huff Po 'Ron Paul should drop out now' this thread was in response. It was just a cheerful tongue stuck out in their faces.

by the AP count which says Ron has only one delegate in Iowa, for example, when even Romney's own folks there expect him to have 20. But I'm sure media will CALL it for him -- however, I don't see how that is very different from what they have done already.

Oh what a ray of frikkin' hope in a maelstrom you are. Get to the back of the line pal. Yer blithering ain't necessary and you ain't got the brains to parse the thread in the context it was written. Typical of shillworkers. If ya ain't a shill stop looking like one every post or three. .

Yeah Romney does not have on the ground support. Slush funds in the Vatican..and ya know what.. That is coming to a head. If an audit of the Vatiocan bank happens or the good cardinal that has become a whistleblower remains alive we just may find out about Romney's slush fund from authorities with documentation and not just insider intel. Anything can happen in the next few months. This ain't a stable period in history. It is about to experience the most devastating financial crash in history and the cabal's carpet is being rolled up around them as more underlings get arrested and rat out the higher ups.. If this happens the only one left standing is RP.. Not even Obama could withstand the storm over his Vatican slush fund amount being made punblic wither. he did not start the war in Libya for shits and giggles. He made a few billion dollar deposit on that one.

So.. all you underinformed that wish to prattle and skittle endlessly that we are out of it are just not up on what is really occurring that drives the power corridors on the planet.

Hell, thats what they're saying this time. Thats why the GOP is content with putting up Romney who couldn't win president of the 4H club under normal circumstances.

im fully aware romney wont drop out. my post was more "making fun of" the medias story they say about ron, only im reversing it. if they can say it towards ron for purposes of controlling the publics perception, then i also can say it towards romney in the sense that ron does have more support. its fairly obvious. but please kill me for living in a fairy tale.
