Mississippi Man Arrested in Ricin Scare

And to think, I was going to plant some castor beans across the back of my garden to keep the mole(s) out. You're making me think twice, Pete.

The plants really are pretty, and would make a nice screen across the back of the garden. The plant I took the beans from was a friends that was well developed bush/tree and very colorful.

Who knows what happened, but government is known to mess with you in ways where they know it can send someone who once believed in the system over the edge if the government is not pleased with them (local, state or federal).

Most people just blindly believe the police and government serve a good purpose. When they see a cop or government doing something wrong, and they complain, only to see it not only covered-up, but to get harassed, falsely arrested, have your career ruined by government, it does send some people over the edge.

Government loves this because the legitimate complainer is often made out to be a loony tune. He may well have gone over the deep end due to his value system of belief in government being turned on its head, but it does not mean he was not screwed by government in some fashion or another.

This guy Curtis may not be all there, but it is probably due to not being able to handle a world turned upside down when he realized how corrupt government is, and there is no doubt in my mind he was screwed by government though he is probably exaggerating.

This does not excuse the letter with an allegedly poisonous substance if he did it. For all we know, some MS government agent sent it making it look like he did it.

The key when getting screwed by government is to to sit back and not lash out. Stay calm and build a game plan. Through blogging facts and earning credibility on documented facts, I have my local/county government on their heels.

Here's some info (lots, in fact) about the castor bean and plant: http://waynesword.palomar.edu/plmar99.htm

The website https://sites.google.com/site/paulkevincurtis/ does not show history in the wayback machine

That's interesting. It's tough to draw any conclusions from it though: The implication is that it must have been created recently, but the WayBackMachine can only archive a site if they come across it in a crawl of other known sites, and there probably weren't too many links to it before this week. Also, they might set some kind of threshold for notability or something (based on the number of links to the site or something like that) to avoid having to archive ALL of the web.

I read the news report, he was defering to the judge 'yes M'am, yes m'am'

sounds like a retard to me

Another patsy?

Another victim.

Most (all recent) Ricin scares have been false positives.

ANY Castor product will test positive for Ricin.
This means any cosmetic,,hair conditioner,, airplane model fuel,, lubricant etc, etc, etc, that has any castor oil or castor product in it.

In reality weaponized Ricin is not easy to make or use. And has only been used successfully a few times in all of history.

Just more MSM hype and distraction.

He is an Elvis impersonator.
Putting these two ideas together, perhaps there is some stage makeup containing castor oil that he uses for his stage act?

And then writes a letter as a concerned citizen.. Boom!

If you are not doing anything wrong,,,,,,,_________

he might be in the process of fighting the charges made by the gov't agents and there may be a very long trial looming if he does go this route

Well, that's a mixed bag for the Marxist-Obamist media.

well, dorner was a liberal who lived in the unicorn and happy cloud land of good big government. he then was introduced to reality of abuse and the cover-up/protection of those abuses. he cracked- and struck back at his masters.

this guy fits the same profile.

The guy isn't in the right frame of mind. I live in the same area and know some of his family. He has a history of mental problems and according to his family members stopped taking his medicine. He can't legally be forced to take his medicine and he pretty much lost it and got extremely paranoid. As far as the body parts go the North Mississippi Medical Center has said they are required to harvest organs by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid for transplants and what not. Even so he deserves a fair trial. In any case hopefully he can get the help he needs mentally.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — The brother of ricin letter suspect Kevin Curtis says Curtis is bipolar and has a long history of mental illness.

Jack Curtis issued a statement through Tupelo attorney Jim Waide.

According to Jack Curtis, his family succeeded approxmately three years ago in persuading Kevin Curtis to take medication for his condition.

Jack Curtis added Kevin Curtis has refused to continue taking that medication and cannot be forced legally to take it.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) — North Mississippi Medical Center issued a statement Thursday about the suspect in the ricin letter case involving President Obama and U.S. Senator Roger Wicker.

It's in response to online allegations by 45-year-old Paul Kevin Curtis that he discovered body parts while working at the hospital.

NMMC says Curtis worked there from 1998 until 2000 and adds he was not fired for allegations made about the hospital.

According to the statement, the hospital is involved with harvesting organs as it is required by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.

NMMC says the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency harvests the organs and takes them immediately to other hospitals for transplants.
The hospital adds it does not receive payment for the organs.

A fair trial?

is that a joke?

He is being tried in the media without any facts. Just vague accusation that his letters "tested Positive" for Ricin.

The likelihood that it is a false positive is 99.9%. As every Ricin scare has been false.

The man has committed no crime.

The organ harvesting and selling is another question,, and at the time of his original claim of it,,, it was in fact happening in several places.
Not an outlandish claim and may have more merit than is being given.

he's a retard I knew it from when he was saying to the judge yes m'am, yes m'am. He's doing what hes told. Probably doesn't even know what's he's up for.

Feel sorry for him. They will probably beat a confession out of him and that's the last you'll hear.
