I remember after the Iowa caucasus (SP) tons of crybabies left. I think me and others that are here now KNEW in the begining that Ron Paul wouldn't win in 2008. I think we get peoples' hopes up.

I agree with the poster above as well: Paul had a 1% shot but it was still worth it to try - I do not regret a second

Idunno what happened to Menthol. Thought he was banned for something or another.

SeekLiberty (Waaaaaaayne!) left after being mocked too often and started working on a nutrition e-zine.

I recognize "Semetary", but don't remember the person.

I don't remember his sign-on anymore, but a Mike from Illinois always got on our cases about not canvassing enough...I really liked his sense of humor. and dedication to doing this thing the right way.

I don't participate on the board too much anymore either because it seems like all I do is defend myself against libertarian arrogance, so maybe those two still do contribute, but I haven't come across a post by them.

This is going back even farther - but does anybody what happened to Tex Macrae? She was a poster here, plus a blogger for Lew Rockwell and AntiWat.com, and then suddenly just ceased to exist. If I google her, I see she's still around, but not like she was.

And Golden Equity - he was the keeper of Ron Paul Audio, but that hasn't been updated in...forever. I emailed him but he didn't email me back.

In the future I see a "Best of _______ threads" post... with ____ = a forum category.

So a "Best of Economics & Sound Money" thread... that contains some of the best forum threads in that category, like a summation.
