Minnesotans: Put up your spare housing

After much ado, we're going to use existing technology for the spare bedroom/basement/backyard camping space interface between our locals and the freedom fighters from other states.

We will link to a Craigslist search from the Rally site on the lodging page which will pull up housing listings with the codes "C4L R4R" which stands for, of course, Campaign for Liberty Rally for the Republic.

Feel free to copy/paste then edit for your own use. We insist you leave in the precautions of requiring proof of ticket purchase or a letter from the state coordinator (I can verify who that is for you after the person sends it) and identification.

Inclusion in the search engine isn't instant, and we want to be sure to have some rooms, basements or backyards coming up before we post availability on the website.

What an awesome idea! Its really hard on people like me who are students or just getting their degree to afford all of the fees. If we could really get a better deal on housing that'd be great!

By the way, I am in Miami and need a place to stay, too.

Edit to say: we have had successful link-ups so far. Those who are looking for these rooms have proven to be fine, upstanding Paulians, clean-cut, etc.

Let's get a lot more MN'ans to put up space, get moving guys! Despite my distance out it sounds like I've got a good-sized group of Washington-staters driving in that I can turn my keys over to, glad to have 'em! But don't hesitate to contact me anyway especially if you've got your own wheels, since I'm not real close, I've called in some past favors and got a few other places lined up, not necessarily all Paulians though, that'll put you up just because I've taken care of them when the chips were down and they know a good turn for you is a good turn towards me. I will make sure you've got a roof over your head while here if you aren't presently in position to take care of that yourself, and a lot of us aren't a lot of the time, that's understood.
