Minneapolis was resoundingly Paul and I attended the Saint Paul caucus and that was nearly as good. I would expect a very positive showing for Paul once the county caucuses are held.

Minnesota has 40 delegates and I don't think it's winner take all, so we should pick up more delegates here.

I'm from Minnesota.

Not only are they proportional, but there are nonbinded delagates elected at each precinct who will move on to vote again at the county, then state caucuses. The straw poll is meaningless.

A lot of precincts are electing Ron Paul delegates, so in a few months when this is all done, he will probably have a surprisingly large amount of MN delegates.

Minnesota's delegates are completely uncommitted. In other words, the straw poll doesn't mean a thing except bragging rights. I think Ron Paul may have the majority of delegates. If not the majority, it will be close.

5 in North Dakota.

On pace for 7 or 8 in California.

Negotiated for 3 in West Virginia.

It's NOT proportional in MN. The delegates are uncommitted, and can vote for whoever they want to.

Our state campaign chair, Marianne Stebbins, has done a phenomenal job. She's been in contact with many of us and we have reported back the results of our precincts to her. While she'll obviously not get someone from all 4,000 precincts, she does have her finger on the general pulse of what we will be looking at.

I assume delegate numbers are reported back to the campaign from the supporters. They should have a pretty good estimate.
