Hi, i am not sure if folks saw the show or not but Laurence O'Donnell show on 6-21-11 was exposing bachmann and her government pork pricing fix. trying to find a link to the show. He made some damn good points . I know folks do not like him nor do i really but if it takes him to expose bachmann so be it!! I thought it nailed bachmann for who she is a fake tea partier!!

Not quite accurate in the strict definition of socialism. Anyone who supports the State is a statist. A socialist wants the means of production to be owned and controlled by the community. (There are looser definitions where a socialist just supports control and not ownership)

In this example, Bachmann is a statist and exhibits signs that she agrees with parts of socialism.

The thank you letter shows she supports and encourages the federal government's role in price-fixing, and the subsidies (aka socialism is the argument) that the local and corporate farmers (aka her constituents) benefit from at the expense of the taxpayers.
