Ron Paul supporters really need to make sure they know all about Michael Scheuer and his opinions. It is not a dove-ish foreign policy. There is a clear distinction between non-intervention everywhere possible, and pacifism.

Ron Paul's biggest failure, if I dare call it that, is not clearly defining that when given the opportunity during debates. In Ron's defense, there's so much nuance in these arguments that you just can't convey an entire response in a minute or two.

He really knows his middle eastern stuff and I enjoy hearing him speak however I have seen him in several videos talk about how he supported and I assume still supports rendition for "interrogations" of terror suspects. Still he is great on foreign policy in my opinion. You can't agree with everybody on everything I suppose.

What if we finally decide that torture even if called “enhanced interrogation technique” is self destructive and produces no useful information and that contracting it out to a third world nation is just as evil?
