Rand: Trump is the best foreign policy president we’ve had in a generation

Trump is the greatest president of my lifetime. I highly doubt someone will come along and put him to shame.

It's not bad foreign policy. If he cut off support for the genocide Israel is doing, it would be mostly good.

Trump’s willingness to negotiate is one of the reasons he is the best foreign policy president we’ve had in a generation.Iran foreign minister will have indirect talks with US envoy over nuclear program - ABC News

Rand is wrong. Trump is the best foreign policy President that we've had in many, many generations. We have to go back to Coolidge. The coping and seething from lolbertarians is palpable.

Israel isn't doing a genocide that's just fake news. Israel is just defending themselves.

Our country benefits from helping our partners and allies with military defense they buy a lot of arms and military equipment from us.

It's our most valuable export and makes our economy the biggest in the world and our military the most powerful.

His foreign policy doctrine is not quite the neutrality the USA had prior to World War 2.

He hasn't pulled us out of defense agreements like NATO but he says he isn't going to help defend NATO if NATO countries don't start carrying their own weight.

Nothing like the neocons or neoliberals we have had for several generations where US taxpayers were stuck paying the bill to defend the world.

It's not even close to perfect, but it's the best since Coolidge. I'm not sure what more I can ask for given the realities of our current political environment.

Killing 60,000 people, indiscriminately bombing civilian buildings, forced internal displacement of population, withholding food and medical supplies. What else would you call it?

I would call it war. They are at war against the people who attacked them relentlessly.

You know we have done worse to a group of people who attacked us and we would do it again.

I can't think of any country who wouldn't.

It's like if you walked up and punched a big guy in the balls at the bar. You think they are just going to say thanks can I have another?

So Hamas kills civilians, that is an attack and terrorism. Israel kill civilians it's war. Got it.

Terrorism can be a type of war.

Terrorism is a distinct form of warfare, often considered a form of asymmetric warfare

Both things can be true.

Usually terrorist attacks attempt to devastate high value targets like a nations economy.

The 9/11 attacks for example went after our nation's original Capital, our New York skyline our cultural exports and our tourism industry.

Our city where millions of people come from around the world to experience America lost years of tourism and people lost their livelihoods, and their life savings and investments.

Israel has invested a lot of money to try to export their culture and increase tourism and become a vacation destination as well prior to this war.
