My race is interesting as there are seven candidates between the two major parties. On the Republican side there is a one term incumbent with a large warchest, a former Miss America who worked in Chicago as an attorney, and myself.
I am a veterinarian with a terrific background. I own my veterinary business. I have raised six kids with four who are adults and valuable members of society. I have the skills, life experience, and smarts needed to address the multitude of issues at the federal level. I know the Constitution better than most lawyers as I have been lucky enough to attend the premier Constitution study club in the country. We have been through 600 Supreme Court cases.
I also know economics. I had a year of classes at the University of Arizona. My knowledge of economics has advanced greatly with reading much from the Austrian School. I will not be hoodwinked by Keynesian crap. The Federal Reserve has to go. It is just a bunch of scoundrels looking to pad their own pockets in the name of protecting the value of the dollar.
Government is not there to represent the majority. Government can only be good if it is restricted to protecting our unalienable rights. Government has become way too big, unconstitutional, way too intrusive into our lives, and beholden to businesses closely connected to government. Government must be smaller.
