"Media Darling" tactic is all about ratings....

The media's game of building up a celebrity and tearing them down is a common trend in Hollywood, as well as Washington. It's a tactic they use to sensationalize issues to gain viewership. It's possible this approach could work to RP's favor in a two man race between him and Romney, since it would be in the interest of the MSM to pump up RP in order to make it a tight race. Once the sheeple jump on the bandwagon down the stretch, there could be too much momentum as there was with the Obama election in 2008. I guess what I'm saying is they could end-up shooting themselves in the foot out of a bloodthirsty desire for ratings at the close of the primaries.

I sure hope your wrong. If enough Americans get the message, and there is a huge surge, their could be a huge media feast. I would be surprised if they throw water on a fire since it would be in their best interest to fan the flames. After all, they will do anything to get ratings. Even if it's some of the dirtiest garbage anyone has ever seen.
