Today we see the emergence of the newsletter story again with a new "wrinkle" you could say. I think that confirms Ron Paul nailed the debate last night. They gotta some how try and counter all the good he did for his campaign last night.

Cnn has a newsletter peice coming up right now. Truly astonishing

don't really wanna link the stuff, all you gotta do is go to Ron paul news on google. Or even just the google news page, Ron Paul hit piece is trending on main google news page. And a bunch of other articles repeating the same thing under search of Ron Paul in google news.

It's is both funny and sad regarding how very little they have to use against this man. They have been doing a pretty good job keeping him down the past 2 weeks, and have been sitting on this little "nugget" just in case they had to stop a little campaign surge.

So even after coming in last in SC, successfully blacking him out since the night of NewHampshire, and playing up his opponents in every region of the MSM universe the truth is still getting out. Combine that with Ron's own lack of campaigning in these two states and they must be crapping their pants at how they have no actual control over the liberty awakening. They will do everything they can to make sure he gets last once again in Florida and downplay his lack of campaigning afterwards. If he does better than expected we all know they will go full throttle into the newsletters once again because they know they can rile him up and spin it.

This information is not at all new; it was trotted out, almost in the same format, in the 2008 campaign. It is, of course, new to this election cycle and to the new folks attempting to understand Dr. Paul and the message which he brings.

We have all of the flip flopping of Romney, Gingrich and Santorum on multiple issues across years if not decades; we have the cronyism of all three; we have the facts of massive corruption, particularly on Gingrich and Santorum; all three support immoral, unconstitutional and unnecessary wars; all three promote nation building; all three support the FED and its policies;and all they can bring up on Dr. Paul are excerpts on a newsletter which was published years ago.

I have a novel idea, out the person who wrote them and it is a dead issue. If only it were that simple. As long as ron paul refuses to say who wrote them. the media will use the newsletters right or wrong and it does alot of damage. The newsletter will serve their purpose as long as ron paul ignores who wrote them. Then again if he outs him now they will call him a flip flopper. Ron Paul decided this issue is not that important. The media has different ideas and it is working.

What makes you think he knows who it was?

I think Dr. Paul would "disagree with what he says but willingly die defending his right to say it" and they would use THAT against him after they found out who wrote them.

Edit: But yes they are detrimental. I've encountered two occasions where I've mentioned Ron Paul (One which was my brother in law) and they've immediately regurgitated "Oh he's a racist"... I believe my reaction to these statements weren't the most productive towards his cause but I eventually got both of them to be full blown Paul supporters

Disagree. The media would then attack the author and link him to RP. They will beat it like a dead horse if we give them an inch.

I thought it was pretty much established that James B. Powell, from Forbes, wrote those newsletters.

Reality Check has done it again!!! Ben Swann does some REAL investigative reporting!!! It turns out that the "most racist" newsletter issued under Ron Paul's name has a byline that has someone else's name on it... JAMES B. POWELL
