McCain won 41% of those who dissapprove of Iraq War

A woman at work told me today that McCain was against the war. Sad. I told her about the 100-year-war comment, and she said that she was sure he was against the war. Sigh.

Misinformed people. Sigh. Reminds me of the post I read this morning by a Paul supporter who said a McCain supporter in NH told him McCain was the only one to want the troops out of Iraq.

Guess Paul should've stuck to the war more.

Ron Paul was waiting for the time to speak out against the war in debates and rinky dink interviews here and there. He should have spent more time in NH making sure everyone there knew why our presence in Iraq actually puts our country in danger and hurts our economy. He should have told them why gas went up from $27 to $100 a barrel, and he should have told them that if we don't scale down the size of our military presence both overseas and here, the baby boomers will be eating out of dumpsters.

He did say it, but he needed to compete with the media. Once more people were aware of the problem and heard Ron Paul's message, more money would have come in.

Ron Paul reminds me of my ultra-conservative grandfather who could pinch a penny till it cried. He took us to Shoney's every year for our birthday every year for our birthday, because kids could eat free there. However, he made me lie on my 12th birthday that I was just turning 12, which I think Ron Paul would disagree with. Spend some money, though, for heaven's sake!

This is very encouraging because the economy is about to enter freefall. I am very well versed in finance and have spent every single day for the last 10 years involved with the markets. We are going to see the first large financial bankruptcies within days. we are already in recession and will be entering the greater depression very soon. Just wait and you'll see the ranks of those concerned about the economy increase.

The beginning of the end... of the Empire. I wonder what these idiots will say to convince the masses that they know how to fix it. I wonder if the sheep will buy it.

What do you expect when the campaign's ads are all over the place? They talk about immigration, abortion and student visas. That's not what attracted me or you to Ron Paul in the first place - I bet 90% of us first gave him a hearing because of the war. Only after that you come to appreciate the fine points.

Fully 1/3 of Republicans nationwide are against the war, and even more among the independents. A consistent 33%, in state after state, is enough to win in such a divided field. The campaign needs to focus on this segment.

Put immigration, abortion and monetary policy on the back burner. Just issue out thousands and thousands of ads hammering through this simple message, and making sure it reaches every uninformed person in the country: RON PAUL IS THE ONLY CONSERVATIVE AGAINST THE WAR.

This message would have won NH today. But it's still not too late for the rest of the country.
