So now our only hope of Ron Paul getting the nomination would be if Mccain all of a sudden just keeled over and died.

He's still backed by free press so McCain can just sit at home and watch the votes roll in.

WRONG! McCain has a long history with melanoma which is the most deadly form of skin cancer. A quick internet search shows he was hospitalized in 94, 96, 00 and 02 for removal of melanoma lesions. The fact that he has lived since 94 with melanoma is actually quite a feat. This form of cancer is very prone to spread to the brain and other organs and when it gets to that stage, it's over.

Dr. Paul knows this...

The FACT that the media has completely ignored this health issue is proof that the media is in on promoting this idiot for the nomination (which I believe he is only seeking so that he can "throw" the election to Hillary...)

Oh come on, thats absurd. The chances of that are minimal at best especially since the last time was 02.

Actually, the chances are greater every day as it's one day closer to the end of life for each of us...

If you have something like melanoma, each day is a gift and gifts don't come every day.

We don't need to wish him dead. He shoots himself in the foot all the time. His finances are under investigation. It is a matter perhaps only the Supreme Court can decide whether his Panamanian birth makes him ineligible under our Constitution. Hell, it's not like he really represents his party. He only got the nomination because conservatives split their votes between Romney, Huckabee, Paul and Thompson! No one loves the guy but the military industrial complex.

Stop wishing him dead and stop cluttering up the space under Dr. Paul's name with this. Dr. Paul is both a Christian and bound by the Hippocratic Oath, and that means that this sort of crap should have no place being attached, even indirectly, to his good name. We can still fight McCain--and his temper, his stupidity, his crooked dealings and the land of his birth can all potentially hand us victory. If you hate him so much, wish for him to live to savor his defeat.

One can always hope. ;)
Of course there is also scandal, and his long and undistinguished career.
I hope that voters will see what they're getting.

You are wrong, so please just stop posting. Treat him with respect even if you disagree with him across the board. No one needs to die in this race.

No, respect must be earned. I don't believe that all men have a "right" to be treated with respect...

Hmm your opinion doesnt sound too Christian, in fact its directly opposite of what Christ said.

Something about doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

It isn't exactly wishing him dead to address the health issue. His VP choice is going to be watched far more than any other in recent history.

McCain does not look very good in many of his pictures.

No, because the nomination would fall to Romney or Huckabee. At this stage probably Huckabee.

Actually, the Christian message is all about Love, not respect. When we are instructed to "love sinners", it's not that we have respect for those who have gone astray, but to love them as God does. In this manner, we hope to show them that they can earn respect by doing good to others...

P.S. The doing unto others is misstated. There is a "love your neighbor as yourself" which you might be thinking of...
