McCain says Ron Paul is welcome in the GOP.

Wow, that is so-o-o-o-o big of him. /s

And what business does HE, a trotskyite, have in the GOP?

Yeah...the Wilsonian progressives and Trotskyites should go back to being (D)'s.

Got to love Ron for bringing about this wonderful division.

McCain is a Neocon/Progressive snake. He wants big government at all levels. He fully supports a police state.

Run away from that sick, sick man.

I'm tired of hearing BS from this goddamn bridge troll.

EDIT: Thank you for the minus rep RonPaulFever. I'm sorry that the acronym "BS" and the word "goddamn" have offended you enough to rep me down.

Fucking bullshit...

They're begging Ron not to run Indy. But if he doesn't get the nomination he's gonna!

He has never said that. It doesn't help the cause for people to believe that rumor either. Who do you work for number 2?

Seriously, his position is that the rules make it next to impossible for a 3rd party win and that he would rather stick with his own party and bring it back to it's roots.

Capiche?

At what point will it be acceptable to say that Romney will be the GOP nominee? After the GOP convention? I've done a lot to support Ron this year, but I think you can be a Ron Paul supporter and still be realistic about what's going to happen.

Not until Super Tuesday, that's for sure...

I don't find the GOP willingly falling into line behind Romney a very "realistic" scenario at all.

It almost sounds as though you are caving. Are you saying, if Romney is the GOP nominee; you will vote for him? Because I certainly will not... I will write in Ron Paul's name. I am not voting for a republican Obama over a democratic Obama. And if you cave, you will only prove the neocon's and their media's brainwashing really does work on the sheeple. They will only be encouraged to manipulate more elections in the future.

In my view, if Ron Paul doesn't get the nod; it will be Obama's second term because there is no way Mittens can beat him so why sacrifice your principals to be a GOP sheeple?

Have you watched Gallup's daily tracking poll the last few days? Romney's numbers are going through the roof.

Doesn't mean it's solid support or enthusiastic support. It's more like, "Well the media says it's over and Romney is the nominee, might as well get behind him, cause I like getting behind a winner".

And these clowns can try and co-opt Ron Paul and we the supporters but it won't work. They will not come around an inch to our positions because they are big government statist neocons and that's all they know.

Unfortunately, many people simply support a candidate because they think they are going to win. People want to be able to say that they'll support a winner. A majority of Romney voters list the number one reason they support Romney as "electability." So that's a huge problem. Most people simply don't vote based on the issues like we do.

If Mitt Romney runs on his current platform of starting a war with Iran, not proposing any real spending cuts, etc, I certainly won't vote for him. I'll listen to what he has to say, but it's not likely he'll run on a pro liberty platform. I'll likely end up voting 3rd party or voting for the Constitution Party candidate.

Are you serious?

Romney, Obama, etc, will say ANYTHING to get elected. They'll say the opposite of what they said two days ago. Heck, two hours ago, in some cases. And once they're in power, they all do the bidding of their banking/corporate/MIC owners.

Can't believe how many posters here don't understand this and are being seduced by the establishment's poisonous rhetoric.

McCain and the big government neocons aren't welcome in the GOP anymore.

The GOP is going to change its going to be a libertarian/conservative party, send the Neocons back to the democrats where they used to be. You might see three parties soon.

Democrats - socialist/progressive - anti war
Necons - warmongering/control
Republicans - libertarian/conservative - anti war
