Nice to see Barr winning this poll, but sad to see so many Ron Paul supporters will waste their vote writing Paul in, or vote for that theocrat...

I wouldn't call ahead by 13 points "winning" (as of this posting
Barr: 93 and Write-In Paul: 80). But then again, you seem very
delusional to really have bought into the scam barr is running.
Have your fun wasting your vote on a neocon scumbag!

Scam? Please, elaborate as to this scam, as well as your evidence of it.

*sigh* why don't you pay attention? OptionTrader has posted

the Libertarian Party into believing he is a "changed man".

In addition to these (which are only scratching the surface).

This guy is a sleazebag, double-talking, flip-flopper! He was
a huge advocate of War on Drugs, advocated complete federal
prohibition of medical marijuana, then joined MPP as a LOBBYIST!

His moral compass is defective and he can't be trusted. He
cheated on his 2nd wife with the a women who is now his
3rd wife.

Edit...adding following

And have you not seen this WAR (his running mate)?

Oh shit, nice. Last I checked they were way behind, and I didn't think they'd make it. I guess I know I'm voting for Barr, now.

Although, don't they still need to issue a challenge in Chicago, or something like that? What are the odds of the petition just being struck down?

I do. That's the problem, apparently.

Bob Barr has changed. People do it all the time. He lost to the libertarians and something clicked. I'm an excellent judge of character and I've spoken to Bob Barr for an extended period of time in private. His opinion has changed on a variety of issues since he served in Congress.

Since you have spoken to him for an extended period of time, you might be able to answer these.

Why does his PAC give money to so many anti-liberty candidates? Does he have control over who the PAC gives money to?

I'm not attacking, I'm simply asking. I don't know the answers.

I don't either, but then again we didn't talk about that. I could name a few reasons why I'd send money to an anti-liberty candidate (it looks like Barr's group is mostly funding incumbents). Perhaps those candidates are aligned with Barr's PAC on certain key issues most relevant to the PAC. Perhaps they face serious challenges from far worse candidates. Perhaps they're simply Barr's personal friends from his time in office and he figures it best to work with existing friends. Perhaps he's trying to butter them up for an endorsement or other consideration. Perhaps he's not even running the PAC (remember when Ron Paul had no idea about racist comments in his namesake newsletter?). There are many strategic reasons to do what Barr's group is doing. But as I said, I don't know the answers. Perhaps you could ask Barr at an appearance.
