“Regrettable” if true, McCain spokesman says.

WASHINGTON — Senator John McCain’s office is pushing back against reports that while visiting Syria this week he posed in a photo with rebels who kidnapped 11 Lebanese Shi’ite pilgrims.

The photo, released by McCain’s office, shows McCain with a group of rebels. Among them are two men identified in the Lebanese press as Mohamed Nour and Abu Ibrahim, two of the kidnappers of the group from Lebanon.

Wow, its almost like the US government is meeting with and supporting terrorists with links to Al-Quaida...

Where's that video of Brezhnev meeting with the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan? They also worked with and recruited Al-Quaida. Its like history is coming full circle. Its like that episode of star trek when they are caught in the time loop, and they keep repeatedly doing the same things but can't quite remember, like playing the same hands of poker and what not. They can't remember the mistakes they've made in the last loop, and at the end some disaster destroys the enterprise, only to have it go over and over again.

But they were on the CIA' list of pre-approved allies and possess permanent American visas. See, this is exactly why Americans have zero business mingling and affecting the affairs of other nations (i.e., My Business Not Yours Inc.)

Let me get this straight...

Senator McCain who voted for the Toomey-Manchin gun control "compromise", which would require background checks on Americans, wants to arm Syrian rebels with ties to Al-Qaeda without doing any background checks on them. So he trusts Al-Qaeda more than he does regular Americans?

The government doesn't even pay for regular Americans to have weapons, yet they want to arm terrorists with weapons and pay for them. That's dumb.

#RetireMcCain!

To be fair I am pretty sure he is an idiot. Not like unlike Prince Myshkin, if Prince Myshkin was violent, and inconsistent in everything else.

TREASON.... SEND HIM TO GUANTANAMO BAY

Someone start that petiton. There's one to send Rubio to Gitmo but Warlord has held off signing it

Pretty good timing for Rand considering in his CNN editorial yesterday before the news of this broke:
Now we see the same enthusiasm for another U.S. intervention, this time in Syria. The Syria Transition Support Act approved last week by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, of which I am a member, has the potential to create more problems for the United States than it would solve. It is unclear what national security interests we have in the civil war in Syria. It is very clear that any attempt to aid the Syrian rebels would be complicated and dangerous, precisely because we don't know who these people are.

McCain just proved Rand's point.

Bumbling idiot still doesn't understand blowback or unintended consequences even after Ron Paul explained it to him.

He really is a dipshit, and always has been. I was watching a morning show the other day where the hosts were talking about how much they admired him for "sneaking into syria" even though he was a former POW. I understand that McCain is stupid, crooked, and been riding that POW horse for 50 years, but what the fuck is wrong with these people who admire that dimwitted tool??

I doubt he cares. McCain is simply interested in driving weapon sales up and that happens by creating more customers. More conflict is good for business and McCain is all about promoting the business of war.

These are John McCain's "good guys" ... after all "we can help the right Syrians"

Rand has some ammo here if he chooses to use it.

Who cares? Throw him in Gitmo and waterboard that sob.

Actually, I wouldn't want that done, or I would be as bad as them. But, I do think he should be held accountable for what he has done.
