i was thinking the whole time 'how the fuck do you know all this? you guys been getting shit wrong for years', and i remember thinking 'you don't sound convincing at all, all people have to do is to have a 3rd grade memory and be able to remember, even slightly, what went on in iraq'.
then the next morning, this news breaks, he doesn't even know the person that is posing as one of the 'trusted rebel leaders', but he thinks we should go out there and start handing weapon to these leaders' minions, lol, and god knows wtf they do with the weapons. mccain was trying to hard to speak in this motherly tone 'these are good people! they have no idea why we won't help them' in a disgustingly soft tone that was stomach turning. even worse now after this shit goes down
