Im pretty sure this is why they pushed so hard to loosen the requirements to get on the VG ballot. First he ties with Santorum, than with Huntsman, than with... perry etc? Besides doing this gives the system a false luster of authenticity while diluting people who, out of self interest if nothing else, should support Ron Paul.
