Massie: This Summer Trump’s ‘Indictments Are Going to Ripen into Convictions’

Actual cuts in discretionary spending.

He gets more cuts in discretionary spending holding a single House seat than Trump did as president and holder of the (dusty) veto pen.

He got nothing.
I don't take your word for them being actual cuts, they always call decreased rates of growth "cuts".

But even if we accept your assertion, I notice you didn't want to deal with the rest of my post:

Is the debt still going up?
Is total spending still going up?
The article also lists lots of spending increases.

He could have thrown a real wrench in the works, but instead he accepted a bag of air.

Trump's vetoes would have accomplished nothing and cost him politically in ways that would have harmed his ability to accomplish what he did accomplish.
Massie's long list of proposed bills that go nowhere and his no votes that are perpetually on the losing side do less for the cause than Trump did, and then you just give him a pass when he conveniently sides with the enemy when it matters like this.

He could have thrown a real wrench in the works...

That's not only a very vague assertion (near as I can tell, it's a bag of air) but it's ironic coming from a guy who's constantly trying to sell us a proven loser by asserting that he had nothing to gain by tossing in a genuine monkey wrench called the veto.

Gee, thanks for calling me ignorant.

So you think a couple of LP candidates can set up a task force, some kind of little ad hoc committee, which can do what the CFR does.

I hope you don't take too great an offense when I disagree.

See here’s the thing, Weld was the co-chair of the CFR task force to create a North American Union. That makes him an evil SOB.

I didn’t call you ignorant; but I do think you are ill-informed about some subjects.
