Massachusetts caucus today

I keep reading here and on daily paul that at state conventions the delegates can vote to unbind themselves. Is this true? Can this really be done? Because if we can get hold of a majority of delegates in primary states where Ron Paul did poorly, and unbind them to vote for whoever in the first round, that will be huge. Of course the GOP will cry foul saying we "stole" the nomination but really who cares what the GOP says. Does anyone have definitive proof, like a link to a rule or something that says delegates can unbind themselves?

In any case go Massachusetts! We certainly have the best grassroots ever. Great job!

Yes unbind the delegates!

Keep the good times rollin! We need to replicate this delegate sweeping in as many areas of the country as feasible in order to purge as much of the old guard as possible. It may not be all that fun but becoming delegates, precinct delegates, precinct committee officers enhances the power of one's vote immensely. If the average voter is a boob then we need to get inside and do the thinking for them.

This is so frick'n hilarious. I can just imagine the training and strategy meetings between these "Romney" delegates and their official campaign. LOL

The double irony here, is that it's become traditional for the RNC to orchestrate the vote so that the winning candidate gets the honor of his home state casting the final nominating votes.

Even with the 1144 Mitt needs - Ron Paul people in his own state will have to get him there! LOLOLOL
