Massachusetts caucus today

Nine total each with 3 delegates and 3 alternates

Yeah, lost 9, lost 8 by 3 votes, 9 provisional, lost 4, one looked good, but who knows

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to shemdogg again.

sigh....

delegates from MASSACHUSETTS are somehow sweeter and more delectable.....

getting ANY feels like a plurality....

Waiting for confirmation, but really pleased about this!!

Way to go, Massachusetts grass roots!!

However, I understand they are only bound for one ballot. Also they would be able to participate in other kinds of votes.

The irony is ... that in the remaining states, since the RP supporters will be going stealth, there could be more of them than if the brokered convention meme was still alive and the other campaigns were contesting things.

What we absolutely HAVE to get out to tea party organizations (real ones, Astroturf are useless) is that their folks should be voting to block Romney in remaining caucuses, which means voting for Paul. That for CONSERVATIVES to have a voice at RNC and real say in what the party does and rules so they can't be gerrymandered against grassroots candidates, we NEED to block Romney from getting1144 delegates. To do that they have to vote for Paul in the final contests to make sure he reaches cut offs for delegates. OTHER protest votes don't count. This isn't just about Paul. SANTORUM and GINGRICH were hurt by the rules put in place by the GOP RNC to carve up evangelical stronghold delegates so their supporters didn't have a voice. The only way to control the process and make it fair is to take the party and the only way to do that is to keep the establishment flavor of the election from getting delegates.

OTHER candidates have delegates going, we even have some split slates working through the process with other candidates' delegates right now. CONSERVATIVES have to be needed to give the nomination to whomever to open up the RNC for real change. Obviously, WE want the nominee to be Ron, but the same thing is true if Santorum folks want him to be in contention. Or someone else altogether. There are no possibilities for the GOP but loss in NOvember behind the Romney version of Obama, unless conservatives change the game at the RNC.

And if the game isn't changed, the next election, like this one, will be split the conservative votes, establishment players pick up the delegates as conservatives drop out until those added to the establishment candidates's 'wins'(under establishment run processes) are enough to get the requisite number, then the call comes for 'unity' behind their gerrymandered process winner. Lather, rinse, repeat.

We've learned the rules of the gerrymandered process and are fighting them on their own battlefield and other conservatives who want the way the game is played changed shouldn't let the opportunity pass.

Just got back from MA district 4. We didn't win :(

It seemed pretty close though, very big turnout from what people told me there. Oh well, still fun, met and talked to some cool people, lots of liberty men and women there. At least I know what its like now. Was a good experience overall.

Hang in there until state convention, and rock their world.

In the 2008 cycle, RP people were only about 1/10 of the NC convention. But we had some tactical wins on party rules and committees. The bigger your bloc, the more votes you can tip.

Thanks for fighting the good fight!

Good luck Bay State! Any win here is good considering this is one of Mittens' many "home states". Only being bound for the 1st ballot is actually good. Us North Carolinians are bound to first THREE ballots, I've been told. Which sucks balls...

Sorry for not attending, it was not a good morning for me. Congratulations to everybody though! I will donate time and money to any fundraisers to send these men/women to Tampa!
