Stocks: Market Crash Looming

OK, which is it, rising or falling. This one said falling.

"Missouri’s March revenue collections fall 18%." That is down 18 percent folks.

I can hardly wait to see the Treasury Tax Receipts.

225 more jobs gone.

http://www.dailycomet.com/article/2...ield-company-EnerCrest-closes-5-offices&tc=ar

100 more jobs gone,

"AT&T Corp. plans to cut as many as 100 more jobs from the Birmingham area, according to union representatives."

Waiting the hear the FED explanation on today's meeting. I doubt we get the whole truth.

The quake really shook here in Phoenix yesterday. It felt like I was going to have a stroke, then, my computer chair started moving and I hollered earthquake. The wood blinds were swinging as well as the patio blinds. It rolled like 20/30 seconds. Weird feeling to say the least. I checked as saw it was a 6.9 and later up graded to a 7.2. Baja CA is getting aftershocks every three or four minutes today as well as Southern CA.

Fed Ends Meeting Without Discount-Rate Move. Just like I said, they could have done that by phone.

Now what was really discussed?

New report today shows CA pension funds 500M underfunded. Let's see how they get one half a trillion dollars so the people get those high pension payouts.

IL, you are in the same boat.

"Layoffs possible at Fulton State Hospital" Looking at 300. They think they will come back in 10 years
Uh Huh.

"ITT 100 in Rochester and 45 in Roanoke VA."

"Carilion Labs will close its Charlotte laboratory over the next seven months, eliminating 90 jobs."

"Counterforce to lay off 83 in Houston."

On another note, now that Easter is over the States are going to have to deal with their budgets.

Get ready NY, NJ, IL, CA, AZ and the cuts will begin shortly.

Next up is Treasury Tax Receipts for March. Hmmmn.

"LA's controller Wendy Greuel just announced that she expects LA's general fund to be "out of money" by May 10, and that LA will likely deplete all reserve funds by the end of Q2."

Any thoughts were more money is going to come from for LA?

Wait, I thought I just posted CA is also short one half trillion on there pension fund.

BREAKING: Unusual price action continued today as the Dow closed near the 11k resistance zone on low volume.

Traders at the scene commented - "Just for fun we checked our Majic 8-ball. It says we're in the EWT fifth wave up, target 11-12k+ from now to July based on prior support levels. After that the sh*t is free to hit the fan. But who really knows, our Majic 8-ball is way past due for service and we used it for indoor baseball yesterday. BASEBALL SEASON!"

half billion.

Construction companies and contractors need a little stimulus. Those numbers are not looking good. Create a scare with Chinese dry wall.

"Feds: Homes with Chinese drywall must be gutted." Yep, I am sure those thousands in Florida have money, sitting around, just to do that." Where in the hell do they get the right to tell you what you need to do inside your house? If you were to sell I could see where they might. "

Thank you for the catch.

Right you are half a billion and not Trillion. That is likely less than half of the rest of their budget mess.

parity

The value of our Dollar and the Canadian Dollar are again at Parity.

Oil is at $86.50..

It looks like history is repeating itself as those were about the same numbers we had in 2008 just before Oil went nuts and the markets went to 14,000.. The market did nothing for me back then. What little money I had in the market.. I had to withdraw to pay for gas and groceries. I now have nothing to fall back on..

I wonder how this is going to play out with 9.7% unemployment.. nearly 20% underemployment?

Right you are, gas prices moving back up at the pump.

"Office vacancy rates are now at their highest level in 16 years, according to a report published Monday."

"CertainTeed announced Monday it is closing its fiberglass insulation plant in Mountain Top. Nearly 140 workers will lose their jobs." PA

"U.S. FEB. JOB OPENINGS DECREASE 4.6 PERCENT FROM PRIOR MONTH
By Bob Willis
April 6 (Bloomberg) -- Job openings in the U.S. fell in
February, a sign employers will be slow to expand staff even as
firings subside.
Openings decreased by 131,000 to 2.72 million, the Labor
Department said today in Washington. Fewer people were hired and
the number of workers fired al decreased, the report also
showed."

Shops closing left and right all over the place.

Greek bond spreads exploding. Our Treasury Bonds are starting to have rates move higher due to our debt.

Major State budgets not yet done, to know how many they yet have to fire.

All is well, rally on.

NJ better get ready. Picked this up over at TF.

"*N.J. TAXES SAID TO BE $250 MILLION BELOW GOVERNOR'S ESTIMATE
*N.J. LEGISLATURE BUDGET ANALYST SAID TO REPORT SALES TAX LAG
*N.J. TAX OUTLOOK IN BUDGET ANALYST REPORT FOR FISCAL 2010-2011"

They get back off spring brake and they have major problems. Wait, did I just see sales lag when they are saying sales taxes increasing? Hmmn.

What was the deficit before the new news? Just add another 250M to that number. Wait, here we go, "Christie inherited a budget shortfall of at least $10.7 billion for the fiscal year that begins July 1."

Bigger than New York 9B deficit. It is going to get interesting quickly.

IL and CA next? Wait, LA is running out of money by June 10 if they borrow reserves. I bet they borrow vs. cut anyone or anything.

Illinois has a $13 billion budget deficit.

California is wrestling with a $22 billion budget deficit.

"CA Inc. to cut about 1,000 jobs."

"Connextions Inc. will lay off 300 to 350 employees by June at its call center in Concord." SC

"Haemonetics Corp. plans to lay off about 170 workers and close facilities in Phoenix and Chicago."

Foreclosures increasing.

Jobs decreasing,

" 140 employees with CSX and Progress Rail in Raceland, Ky are now out of a job."

"About half of Lynx's 400 employees will be laid off this month." Under Frontier airlines. 67 today. And those are higher paying jobs.

"Chart Industries will close a medical oxygen plant and layoff 130 workers in Plainfield this year, and move the work to another plant in Georgia."

Don't you just know things are getting better?

"Moody's Investor Service downgraded Iceland's debt ratings outlook to negative from stable on Tuesday over concerns about the tiny island nation's ability to tap the foreign credit it needs to stay afloat."

Greece? UK? Spain? Italy? Portugal?

On the other side Japan Airlines cutting 16,500 jobs.

A small US. carrier to charge 45 bucks for a carry on bag to put in the overhead. Don't you just know they will all do that soon?

Soon you will need to use coins to get into the restroom on the plane. Out of coins and you have a problem.

126 more jobs gone.

"http://www.idahoreporter.com/2010/dhw-will-close-nine-offices-to-meet-budget-reductions/:

And Turbo Timmy want more jobs to go to India. How about this? He is a dip shit. Yes, that is what I said.
