Jobless Claims 439K vs 442K prior week. A few k better but nothing to shout about. That is still a lot of lost jobs.

Ok, all I know about Soma is that it's a muscle relaxer. The addicts that come in my pharmacy absolutely love it.

Could someone explain in simple terms what the zerohedge link means? Is that the reason the fed can never raise rates?
 
Rates go up and their,our, holdings blow up. You get the brass ring.

Unless they are unloaded before rate move up it will be ugly is the way I read the article.

In all my years, I have never seen so much corruption with no AG or anyone willing to take them all to jail. They will all be held accountable some day down the road for not taking the thief's to task as their duty requires. My Words.

You know the funny part is the AG'S that could have done something, and didn't do something, and will have their families pay big time before this mess is over. They know damn well what is going on, and they will not stand up as a group and go after them .

Come to think about it millions of people should email and it might be the answer. A record track if they do not do anything to stop this all. Put them all on the line in all 50 States. You follow up or you are on the list when it blows up. Just thinking out loud on what might stop this insanity.

Everyone can copy their email to the AG'S as evidence. Now who wants to come up the concise 500 plus page email that outlines the corruption so their goose is cooked if they don't do anything?

It might be 5K pages long from what I have seen.
 
Brand new Dell plant will close doors end of April (or was it May--sorry I forget)--We gave them millions of dollars to come to NC, they are planning on paying NC some of that money, but it is over 900 jobs gone.

We did the fire protection work on that building, it is freaking huge, two water tanks, multiple fire pumps. They spent a lot of money on that building, Dell and NC.

They should hold their feet to the fire for the entire cost if they bail. Your word should be your word. To heck with the contracts. That is how I use to do it, and if I was wrong I ate it, and if they were wrong they ate it.

An oral or written contract is just that. If they don't perform they pay. Sue them. I am tired of getting ripped off by these corporations that can not live up to their promises.
 
BREAKING: Unusual price action continued today as the Dow closed around 10.9k after approaching the strong 11k resistance zone during the day on medium volume. Markets closed tomorrow. Quant easing supposely now over. Goldman Sux slammed the S&P futs at 1177, slightly below strong resistance zone at 1200.

Jobless benefits will end mid-April

Some 4000 unemployed Alabamians will lose jobless benefits on April 12 unless congress extends insurance.

The surge of jobless Alabamians - from 188,000 a year ago to 228,000 in Feb- has put a major dent in the state's unemployment trust fund, which depends on taxes charged from employers. The fund took in 220.1 million last year and paid out 682 MILLION, a difference of nearly a half-BILLION dollars that will have to be repaid to the federal government.

Things are getting so much better.,

"Nationwide, UPS will furlough 300 of its 2,800 pilots by 2011. The company will furlough 54 pilots in May, 170 by the end of the year and the remaining 76 by the end of 2011."

Don't forget CA auto plant just bit the dust. Teachers to be cut by the thousands yet.
