That's over a 200% increase from last time. How is that lame?

Exactly, with everything that's gone on, it's safe to assume that our voters are a huge chunk of those who turned out who didn't turn out last time. I don't think the Romney people are passionate enough to show up in greater numbers for a State the media has already reported they won... I hope anyway...

I guess its less lame =P. Still though, the future of the USA is possibly going to be on Washington County's hands. The more voters there are, the better our chances.

It's just really shocking how few people actually decide elections. I believe they said there are over 9,000 registered Republicans in Washington County? You're talking about 3% or 4% turnout, when they know they have the power to change the results of the entire state. Pretty lame imo.

So last year when only 100ish voters showed up.. only a 1-2% turnout? lol

The only good thing I can see is that only the educated ones come out to vote.. while the masses just stay home =P.

There's no question that we won the Washington Co. straw poll. The question is whether the win adds enough votes to Ron Paul's statewide total to overtake Romney.
