Exactly! Are you referring to Trump voters or politicians who said they were done with Trump? Trump hardly lost any support whatsoever.

Can you name a single public figure who was as solidly pro Trump as a Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson who turned on him because of January 6th? Because I can't. Tucker should have turned on Trump not only for lying about the election being stolen but also for how he handled COVID by going along with Fauci's recommendations to shut down the country and by pushing Operation Warp Speed, and he privately criticized Trump and publicly criticized Trump's lawyers but never publicly criticized Trump.Both.

It's not a thing of looking over social media posts. If any major MAGA supporters has flipped you would have remembered it. You don't because it didn't happen. Those who went against Trump because of January 6th, like Liz Cheney, stayed anti Trump. Ten years from now people will remember Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Green turning against Trump.I really don't have time to look over social media posts by "public figures" from 4 years ago. But I as I said earlier, if Trump recovered from that, this is nothing.
What would SwordSmith say?
I wonder more what would Swordy say about Trump inviting Mamdani to the White House. But then again I know it already. He'd call it 4D chess. What would SwordSmith say?

That doesn't mean squat. Voters are sheep who are swayed by messaging. The people who were seen as leaders in the MAGA movement remained steadfastly loyal to Trump post January 6th and went on to try to either justify the stolen election lie (Dinesh DeSouza's "10,000 mules" Fauxumentary) or minimize what happened on January 6th (Tucker Carlson displaying selective clips of January 6th to try to pretend it was peaceful while ignoring the violent parts). What was particularly diabolical is that Tucker simultaneously pretended January 6th was "peaceful" with while talking about the "murder" of Ashley Babbitt. In doing so he covered up the fact that the mob with Ashley Babbitt had threatened cops going so far as to punch the wall right beside the cops head and when the cops left to be relieved by SWAT the mob smashed the windows in the barricade before SWAT could get in place. When Tucker Carlson interviewed Trump in 2024 he didn't bring up January 6th or Operation Warp Speed or anything that actually challenged Trump. I can't imagine that happening now. Too many bridges have been burned.I think you are wrong. His approval ratings bottomed out then and came back when he ran again. He clearly lost then regained support.
