By the looks of the video, based on what I'd seen, there was a substantial "disparity of force". the operator of the SUV had every right to mow down dozens of them - there's a whole mob for pete sakes? How can anyone say to the contrary.
There is one of those goons who is a saint though - albeit perhaps indirectly, and involuntarily. The guy who produced the video...
What I cant understand is why the man stopped the vehicle and allowed them to drag him out of it. He's very lucky they did not kill him... Vehicles can be replaced, but the lives of you and your family cannot. As for "them or us", I think that question has an instinctively obvious answer.
I personally have nothing against bikers, or the right to assembly - but those arguments are simply red herrings in this case. There are 'bikers' who should be thanking that operator for sparing their lives, and taking great risk to do so (the vehicle operator risked the lives of his wife and child as well).
Many, more level headed folks, would have taken out swaths of that mob, and had every right to do so given the circumstances.
