Wow.
Oh, he didn't want to blow his cover. See, it makes perfect sense now.

I'm starting to think that motorcyclists are whiny.
My dad had one, but I don't recall all this bitching. Nobody's going to change their driving behaviors because it bothers you...drive your bike accordingly. Most of us 4-wheel drivers avoid you guys as much as possible anyways--no gratitude for that?
I was talking of this incident over the weekend with a range pal. It occurred to me, while I was talking to him, that the officer may have witnessed the mob's actions and did not want to become the "new target". He was probably trying to save his own skin.
Saw the guy who brake checked the Range Rover on GMA this morning.
He claims he was slowing down to fall in with his friends.
His story sounded like 100% bullshit.
28-year-old Cruz, who's been charged with reckless endangerment in the incident, told ABC in an exclusive interview that he tries to "stay away from trouble as much as possible."
He also said all the attention the story has received has turned his life "upside down."
More shocking details have also emerged in the story. Good Samaritan Sergio Consuegra, who intervened in the assault of the SUV driver Alexian Lien, told ABC one of the bikers also attacked Lien's wife, Rosalyn Ng, "grabbing her by the arms, real hard" until bystanders yelled at him to stop.
A new photo released by the NYPD also shows the passenger side window of the black Range Rover, where Rosalyn had been sitting, was also smashed. The couple had their two-year-old child in the backseat.

Meanwhile, two other bikers this weekend were charged in the assault. Robert Sims and Reginald Chance are accused of gang assault, among other charges.
You spelled out an incorrect definition. One you made up and apparently live by, but which you shouldn't expect the rest of the world to know or care about.
You've implied the threat of violence several times. That counts as acting tough in my mind.
Reginald Chance, 37, was arraigned on gang assault charges related to the brutal beating of 33-year-old Alexian Lien on September 29.
One of the bikers charged in the shocking assault of a SUV driver flipped off reporters during a court appearance on Sunday:

Although Chance did not participate in the physical assault of Lien, prosecutors believe his act of smashing in the SUV's driver's-side window with his helmet--as seen in a viral video of the incident--allowed the other bikers to remove Lien from the vehicle and beat him.
The New York Post reports Chance has a long history of run-ins with the law, having racked up 21 prior arrests for charges that include gun possession and robbery.
Earlier in 2013, Chance faced up to 25 years behind bars for both drugs and gun charges, but a judge knocked it down to misdemeanor marijuana possession and Chance was subsequently let off on 20 days of community service.

And just prior to that, he's driving between lanes right next to the SUV, looking right into the driver's door window. There's no way. He glanced back at the SUV several times while purposely pulling right in front of it. If you notice in the video, his head turns toward the vehicle, not toward the other bikers passing the vehicle right before he shifted right into the vehicle's path. There's no way he didn't know it was there.
EDIT: Ok, he turned his head toward the vehicle first while pulling into its path and then turned around and turned his head the other way, sitting side-saddled on his bike while looking directly behind him and slowing down to meet the corner of the vehicle. That said, his story is still complete bullshit. He absolutely knew the vehicle was there, 100% no doubt.
I have never been a member of a "club",, though I have been a member of ABATE.
There are "Bikers",, and there are people who ride motorcycles.
There is a difference.

Fifteen Grand and fifteen miles don't make you a biker.
And just prior to that, he's driving between lanes right next to the SUV, looking right into the driver's door window.
Yeah, not to mention that little inkling, which proves he wasn't blind to its existence and was probably glaring at the driver for a reason.
You have to admire their dedication. An eight hour day of stomping people apparently isn't enough. With some of them it is all thug all the time.
An off-duty undercover cop who had claimed he took no active role as fellow bikers pulled a Manhattan dad from his SUV and beat him to a pulp was actually pounding the vehicle with his fists at the height of the bloody road-rage attack, sources told The Post.
The cop, a seven-year veteran, had told investigators he didn’t help the injured man because he rode up to the scene as the beating was nearly over, sources said.
But video footage clearly shows otherwise, disgusted sources said Monday — and Internal Affairs Bureau higher-ups want to nail the officer.
Still, probers believe their hands are tied, sources said, because authorities have dropped charges against another biker, Allen Edwards, 43, of Queens, who allegedly punched the rear window of Alexian Lien’s Range Rover before Lien was pummeled in front of his wife and 2-year-old daughter.
Blah blah blah, it's all been said. Us non-bikers are just not going to make the distinguishment you make because we don't have a system for determining the level of biker you are like you apparently do.
