Louisiana results?

Great news and thank you for a great job.

Please be very alert on primary day for busloads of people coming in for Romney, McCain, Huckabee.

Please read this post:

One final thought. It is important I think that Ron Paul get at least fifty percent of the votes on primary day in order to receive all the delegate votes on the first ballot.

I noticed in Nevada that oddly enough, Clinton and Romney each received exactly 51% of the votes. That was incredibly unusual to me, that both of them managed to pull that off and I find it very suspicious. I understand Romney bussed people in, possibly from Utah ? So get out the vote on primary day for Dr. Paul. He has to get that 50%. Check with those who know about this in your district.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Our grassroot support will grow because the MSM is not reporting this. If they do report this, it will give Ron Paul the extra needed boost for the next state. I feel his message is catching on.

By the time we reach the next state, Judy will drop out. Huck is low on $$$ also, will he drop?

They will not report it because nothing is final until after Super Tuesday. And they would much rather not report on a Paul win.

There are no streaming results. We'll have the names of the delegates who were elected.

Our Louisiana coordinator will tell the campaign how many of our delegates were elected.

We'll compare that number to the total # of delegates to the state convention that were elected (105) and we'll know what our % is, and how much juice we have at the state convention to elect delegates to the national convention.

Hopefully the delegate names will be on the lagop.com website in the morning. Our LA organizers will have to tell us who among the ones who were elected were part of our slate.

answer to provisional question

Does anyone know if the provisional ballots count towards the total at the end of the night?

If you are speaking about a provisional ballot issued when people are not on the rolls and insist on being able to vote, the answer is "no". The provisional ballots are subject to a challenge of the voter's registration status. If later it is determined that the voter was registered and eligible to vote, then the vote is counted.

If you are speaking about some kind of provisional process specific to the LA caucus process, I couldn't tell you.

It shouldn't be taking this long with that low of a turnout. It sounds like there are other campaigns being crybabies and demanding recounts, kind of like what happened in Jefferson County, IA.

Well, keep in mind each ballot has up to 15 different votes on it. That's gotta be a pain to count.

And if they're playing games with the provisional ballots it could certainly take a while.

I was hoping to hear something tonight, but it looks like I'm just going to have to check in before I head out to work in the morning.

They didn't like the outcome in my opinion...several sources state they want to check party switch dates on RP supporters etc to make sure they were republican by the deadlines.

I, by myself, and I am sure most here as well, could count without the use of fingers and toes, the votes of any precinct small and large accurately, in a time between 5 minutes and an hour.

They already checked the registration deadlines because they had gotten a lot of calls from Paulites about how to switch to vote for Ron (our people aren't very subtle).

From all accounts (from our Ron Paul people) -- the count is transparent. Paper ballots, counted in the open, with representatives of the campaigns there...

RP supporters need to be subtle when asking for information from the party or any government agency. Anything like this should be a surprise. I think that is what might have sabotaged WV....tipping off other campaigns and the party.

There were some Ron Paul supporters counting the ballots in district 7. I wouldn't be freaking out. Plus, those ballots really would take a long time to get through.

Since they have to check provisional ballots today, I would assume that results will not be final until later in the day. Just an opinion from an outsider who voted provisional because my name was not on the list but had registered in November.

I can vouch. Count was completely valid. Any of our people who wanted to, were allowed to count votes with a member of the Enemy Team. (I.E.: One of our delegates, and one of the "Pro-Life, Pro-Family" ticket's delegates sit together and both count the same votes to ensure accuracy.)

Were some weirdnesses with the Provisional Ballots, but I'd like to see how that plays out before we make any kind of fuss about that.
