Louisiana results?

I went to the district 1 caucuses with my mom. I saw one Mitt Romney supporter. I saw the pro-life pro-family delegate list and felt that it was fishy, probably a candidate didn't put his name on it, glad to know it's a compilation of several candidates people lol. Our guys were right out front. I left at about 6... several cars were outside with Ron Paul signs and stickers, and some people were walking in that were obvious Ron Paul supporters. I didn't see any Mccain support, but that might just be because they are the regulars.

i always wondered what a parish was! haha

haha yeah somebody was on here the other night and they thought it was like a church parish. They were like "What?! you mean they are going to have the caucus at a church. That is disgraceful!"
:D

This just in from facebook.. courtesy of Mr. Trent - hope it hasn't already been posted ;)

It seems that official reports will come out tomorrow. However--when I was leaving the caucus site at 8 (as it was shutting down) they were like 60% done counting the ballots from District 6. Two campaign staffers (one which iv worked with very closely) told me that we were winning. Not only that, we were winning in every district in Louisiana.

Huge. 105 delegates to the state convention. Of which, 44 will goto the RNC for Paul (unless someone gets a majority in the primary).

District 5

hey, i'm back... but they are still counting....
It looks good... there were only two tables up in district 5. Romney and Paul. Our table had many people...there's had very few.
Turnout was low as expected in district 5 which works in our favor...

David Hoyt from the campaign was at our location. I actually knew him and had gone to high school with his cousin, though he now lives in houston.
He commented that we were the most organized state thus far.... yeh, without interference from the campaign, we got stuff done!
He introduced himself as someone who works for the campaign, I replied, "Yeh, I work for Ron Paul too, I just don't get paid." But I said it with a smile and chuckle... he was a good sport. a real nice guy.

If this is true, that's HUGE news!! This is absolutely incredible. Way to Geaux Louisiana!

Wow, winning every district?!?!?

I was headed to bed, but now I need (another) celebratory beer.

Thanks for all your hard work

We owned the place in people and signs... I'm reading the reports from other districts, and they are the same as ours.

AWESOME JOB LA!!!! I can't wait to hear the official results!

This is so amazing! In one fell swoop, we may have more delegates than from all the other states!

Of course that can all be taken away, so we all must work hard to get out the votes in the other states!

I will finish up my precinct here soon. :D

If he gets the 44 RNC delegates, that gives him a total of 50 to the RNC, that puts him right under Romney, no?

how does the poll watching work, does anyone watch the votes being counted? In Nevada we watched each precincts ballots counted, it was very exciting to be RIGHT THERE in the eye of the storm. The caucus chair was VERY impressed with Dr. Paul's numbers.... It is going to be hard to tell what the results are until every caucus calls in.

The South is rightfully ours, lets go and take it back. Louisiana has put in her due to the Lost Cause, will the rest? I suppose we'll have to wait until February 5th and beyond to find out.

Anyone early that was early on with this campaign will remember seeing all those website popping up saying that delegates win the election. It appears as that statement is indeed coming to fruition.
