Can I change the title to Lord of the Forums? I just think it's more catchy.
Let me hand my ring of power to you and you can...

Frodo couldn't be trusted, he had to have his finger bitten off.
I was suggesting that Occam's Banana deserves a better character NOT that he couldn't be trusted.Pipe down, Boromir. He's still better than the rest of us.
LOL a really tall dwarf.
While I definitely am a fan of Tolkien's overall message, I read The Hobbit in HS and found reading it to be a real chore, so I never read any of the others. Saw the movies once each but am not even close to familiar enough with them to figure who I might best be represented by. Maybe I'll give the movies another watch and try carving through the books again to see if time has changed my perspective.
Because I advocate for the end of big government and I don't go around using it against people who don't use it against me first.
You may believe what you wish about me but I follow my beliefs even when they don't personally benefit me.
Just because you call me Boromir doesn't make it so.Just because you identify as Sam doesn't mean you are, Boromir.
I'm Boba Fett.

Then Bilbo sounds about right.Years back playing D&D I was a Half Elf,half hobbit Thief. Chaotic Good..
This may help. According to this chart, I'm an Arwen. I don't remember her doing much in the books besides giving up immortality to marry Aragorn. I liked her in the movie version, though.
Just because you call me Boromir doesn't make it so.
Why should I believe you would act differently as a government official? It has been my experience (with every few exceptions) that becoming a government official brings out the worst in people.
When I am weaker than you, I ask you for freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principles.
LOLYes it does.
That may be how you think but it's not how I think, I have often chosen the right thing even though it was personally disadvantageous.Since we're talking literature, there is an appropriate quote...
Of course; as a statist, you wish for government to do things on your behalf that you are - for reasons we can speculate upon - unwilling or unable to do yourself. In this regard, calling you Boromir is inaccurate, because Boromir would have taken the ring himself and attempted to win the last battle himself. That may be how you think but it's not how I think, I have often chosen the right thing even though it was personally disadvantageous.
