Local results: two of three levies fail

Locally, I had three tax levies to vote on. One was a renewal. I voted against all of them and wrote a letter to the editor decrying the coercive nature of voting yes for a park district levy. It failed by similar amount as last time (these socialists NEVER give up!), about 47 to 53 %.
The local school income tax also failed, by a wide margin, about 37 to 63%.
The third issue, a renewal of a tax for developmentally disabled services, passed by a wide margin, about 67 to 33%.

2 of 3 seems like victory , but it is just theft on a smaller scale , We have had that school crap on the ballot twice , once yr.'s ago and again today . I will be surprised if they do not get what they sought to steal , but hope for the best . They will not get jackshit from me , because if it passes , I will get lower appraisals on my properties and make them lower my tax as I did last time and get a net gain .
