Llepard and all other 2007 fine folks hiding: this is the closest we can win. Please help

I especially liked the on ad we did that took many of our faces and made a picture of Ron Paul. I've been kinda slack this election and busy with tons of other stuff but it is great to see the investment of time and money put in to the previous race build momentum and success after the election in 2008 was over.

$200k blows my mind. MikeStanart, Secret Billionaire, time to step up to the plate! lol

Hah! I wish man, I do what I can. The "Secret Billionaire" tag is for nostalgia's sake. AKA back in 2007 when everyone thought Paul had a secret billionaire stashed away ready to blow his fortune on Liberty.

Thanks for all your support.

I would love to but I am not in a financial position to do so. I feel bad about that, but we all do what we can. I have given him the maximum campaign donation and have made lots of small contributions to projects. You need to understand that I am not that rich. Yes, I am comfortable, but spending $200,000 on ads in USA Today and the NYT was a HUGE commitment for me. Really not something I could ever repeat easily. Arguably what I did was crazy (ask my wife and three kids), but I felt like at the time he needed the help, and I wanted to make a mark. We did have the largest one day fundraiser in history off of that ad. When I see how well he has done, and how the ideas have caught on and spread, I never once have regreted the decision to spend the money. I sincerely hope he wins but the size of the whole thing is beyond me now. What I can give today does not move the needle.

Overall I am so encouraged and proud of Ron and my fellow supporters. Over 50% of the youth vote in Iowa went to RP. We are the ultimate growth stock. Just give us time and we will win. The fourth turning that we are currently undergoing is going to be EPIC. Think American Revolution like. God bless the new young generation that is going to pick up this torch and run with it, and doom on all my fellow baby boomer co-horts who are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Keep fighting, we are right, therefore we will win. I feel it very deeply.

I remember buying a USA Today for the first time and showing the ad around work.

i just REPPED everyone in this thread.
i sometimes rep threads in full if i can.

Llepard, I haven't given you thanks in 4 years but I'll chime in again. My wife had the USA Today ad matted and framed for me for Christmas in 2007 and it still hangs in my office. Fantastic job!

You were absolutely amzaing last election Llepard and still are. It was and is very much appreciated. I still have my copies of the USA page size ad in plastic sleeves in a memory book. :)

It was a wonderful and generous effort. I think we just all wish we could do now what you did. Feeling some frustration that we cannot. :)

I still have a copy of that ad. I'm convinced this movement will become an influential part of history.

I remember the anticipation was killing me trying to get to 7 Eleven to pick up the paper and read the ad. Those were great times!!! Thank you for your sacrifice sir!

I forgot about llepard and the fantastic ad until now. We were staying at a hotel that night, so we ran up and down the hall and opened everyone's papers up to that page!

That was an awesome ad. I still have my copy too! Thank you for such generosity for the cause!

My favorite line from the ad:
"Let YOUR voice be heard... If not YOU, who? If not NOW, when?"
