I'm 50 and have 3 grandchildren and have an IQ of 135. Unfortunately, we are the exception to the rule. It's people our age that ARE the problem. Personally, I'm betting my money on the younger generation to win this war their way.

Haven't posted in a while but sir calm down. How old you are or when you first voted for Ron is irrelevant. It doesn't make your views any more or less valid.
Constructive criticism is a good thing. Getting over the top upset because some people don't agree with your constructive criticism is a bad thing.
You strike me that your heart is in the right place... channel that energy where it is deserved. Not on fellow supporters.

Splanky's point about sticking to the war theme in a veteran's march instead of ruining it with a "end the fed" chant is correct, but he needs to show respect to others here....especially when he just registered to the forums. You don't just register to an online forum and start calling people stupid. You aren't gonna get anywhere in life with that attitude.

I've watched two videos of this event several times now. Seems pretty clear to me that the troops were not the ones chanting "end the fed". The troops were in front of a truck with others (presumably non-troops) trailing behind. The veterans were much more powerful and synchronized.
Watch to the end of this video. At the beginning of the video is a very synchronized, powerful military-style. At the very end of the video, you can hear the people behind the truck doing the "end the fed" chant. They sound nothing like the guys in the front. I've watched this several times just to hear the veterans in unison. Very powerful!!

If that's the case, then we're all good. I only watched about a minute of the video so I just took for granted that they were chanting end the fed for much of the time.

You probably watched the other video where it was people in the rear being filmed (at least that is what I think). This video is much more "military".
There were two marches: one to the WH and one back to the monument. The troops marched in formation ahead of the civillans, seperated by the USMC flag and Captain USA holding it. The march TO the WH was awesome. What happened was that the civilians after the ceremony marched closer to the veterans, even flanking them...I flanked but never passed the flag on the way back. So I was right behind the troops...the march on the way back was a bit different chant cause the troops were mixing it up...the civilians were the ones to doing the end the fed...the troops were saying "end the WARS" it was hard to make up because of the civilians, chanting. at no time did I hear the troops doing end the fed...case closed.

There is a link on Drudge right now to the ABC article. I was also told by a friend that they did a small segment about it last night on Bret Baier's Special Report. I can't seem to find a clip for that so he may have been mistaken, or just tired of me bitching about Fox never covering Paul LOL.
