He tells us that he is concurrently working on his congresional seat, which many here was confused about, because he wants to secure that IF he doesn't get the GOP nomination.
He also says that with MITT out (though he only suspended his bid), it looks unlikely. THIS WHOLE CAMPAIGN has always been unlikely. We never cared about that.

Listen. I counted 3x in that letter Ron tells us he is MOVING FORWARD AND HE IS NOT GIVING UP. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT! He tells the truth, chances are slim. BUT WE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT. THE Damn MSM completely blacks us out!!!!!!
So what? Walk off with hunched shoulders downtrodden! NO, you get focused. You make phone calls and help out those states that need phonebankers. You write letters, or send out PRO-RON PAUL postcards. You spread that word because..

We
must help w/RP's Congressional run (donate and/or volunteer if we live nearby) so he secures his Congressional seat first; however, his Presidential run has
not been abandoned--nor, more importantly, his message. We
can make a dent in some of the remaining primary & caucus states, even if only as representing a protest vote against the big government alternatives that remain for the GOP nomination.
I, for one, will continue to phonebank, donate, and continue to spread the word. One thing that made this campaign so special, and which caught the attention of (and probably scared) TPTB, was the active & tireless grassroots participation. With a "leaner" campaign, IMO, that is a nod from RP to the grassroots to continue to do their part in getting the message out.
We must
not let ourselves be (or remain) demoralized by the lack of media coverage, dirty tricks, or disappointing results. I realize these things are disheartening, but we must continue to do our best to counter them, and continue to open the eyes of those around us to a very important message.
