It didn't click when I first read it. I think fr33's point was that some of the worst men in the 20th century got trials. I agree though, he should have his day in a civilian court. Nuremberg probably wasn't the best example but I got what he was saying.

edit: I usually don't wish anything bad on others, but I would almost make an exception for him.

LBJ got the tonkin gulf thingie out of his congress
well long be4 our big W got his tew patriot acts...

Someone on CNN just said the FBI is making a huge mistake by saying the public is now safe but is using the public safety exemption to refuse to give the suspect his Miranda warnings. He said we should give him his Miranda warnings, let him lawyer up and not give him any excuse to say this his rights were violated.

Has Congress actually declared war?
It's hard to declare a war with a tactic or an inanimate object. 'Terrorism will most definitely sign a treaty once you kill enough of them'...

Their logical shortcomings are incredible. I really think they know the truth but have other interests to serve. (definitely not the American people's interest, that's for sure.)

I'm in twitmo and can't tweet back right now. But feel free to remind Lindsay that the police scanner had two entirely different people IDd last night and it could have been them brought in. Due process isn't for them, it is to make sure the guilty are taken, not the innocent.

Let me think on that. (hmmm, name change....)
